It's totally killed the game for me with this patch.. sucks to be having a great game when you crash cause you lose all motivation to even want to start the game back up again.
I'm 2 weeks new to this game so I ask are the dev's known for refunding/freezing premium time while the game is broke?

Getting this from 1-3 games. Game just freezes with latest sound looping. REALLY annoying and not fun to get "killed" when game glitches on you. Have tested different drivers on my 7970HD, no difference in freezing. It started after the last patch. Could it be with particles or something as I get it when a lot of them are drawn, like when a Mech is hit by LRMs or similar. Range from target does not matter.

Very irritating to have a 3-day weekend off from work and one of your favorite games be utterly unplayable. Guess it's back to playing through Dead Space.

I found another fix. Kinda. Doesn't crash as often.
Alt tab as I stated before at the start up sequence for your mech. At the end of your match, if you make it through, select another mech in the bay that's selected already on your home screen then go back to the mech you want to use. Should stabilize it.
Thus far this method insures me being able to play on every single map EXCEPT Frozen City/Frozen City Night. Those two maps I get lucky to get close to the end of the match.
Thus far my computer config doesn't seem to be an issue, it's boss:
GEForce GTX 660ti
64gigs of RAM
2x 2 Tera Hard Drives
1x 2 Tera SSD
So it can't be my computer. It's this ******** patch. Which as of yet, I haven't seen any developer response AT ALL to it, nor a new patch to address the issue. If I'm wrong though, please for the love of Mechwarriors everywhere, link me to a legit workaround so I can get back to enjoying the game I sank 100$+ into.
lol 64 gigs of ram........and a 8000$ ssd drive that just been announced and not sold yet ?

i've got this too. 650Ti, in fullscreen the game freezes and i have to go in taskmanager and kill it.
if happens when there are a lot of LRMs, could even be an audio driver issue. are you all running on realtek audio or with a creative one?

Constant screen lockups and blackscreens and there is not even a statement on how long it will take them to fix this crap? Sure, if it was a free beta, but I am not the only one paying money for this, for example on premium time.
Do you think I like to watch my premium time trickling down while I cannot play the game because it is broken?
It is like a bloody sinus curve. One patch makes it work, the next one breaks completely, then rinse repeat.
I am positively pissed off atm.

^ I'm with this guy.
I dropped another 100$ in recently, just before I started experiencing all these glitches and freezes on premium time and MC. MC I'm not going to complain about because I control how I spend that. It's all on me. But my premium time is ticking away bit by bit and I still can't ******* play. My workarounds no longer work on my system and I'm freezing every single map. I've gone in and tried everything I could. No effect. Ze Gogglez. ZEY DO NOZZING! Literally.
So I'm thoroughly pissed off too. Hopefully today's maintenance will introduce a permanent fix via patch and we'll see some refunding of premium time.

I am also running a Realtek card, so I tried playing the game with it disabled in Device Manager. The game froze after 5 matches. The freezes are now keeping me from playing for a full week while my premium time is ticking away.
Support only forwarded the issue but gave no response on the premium time. Send Garth a PM yesterday about this issue too but also no response. Not amused.

It seems that forcing a max fps and alt-tabbing fixed it for now(5 matches)
