Many people feel that Clanners upholding honorrules would balance the, in some cases even grant the IS players advantage.
I'm personally more a honor level 2 kind of guy, Word of Blake gets the honor level 4 treatment,
So what's it gonna be?

Also, as for the Honor level....well, over time you guys might have to modify it just like what happened with the actual Invasion. So, don't think it'd really be a set number.

Some people are more conservative then others. I bet that there's plenty of staunch Jade Falcons who'll go for honor level 1

Oh, I know. But I meant as the game is released and time drags on and no one else is adhering to any kind of honor level, less it's on a point by point basis. One enemy might be honorable enough to answer Batchall and fight with Zellbrigen, but there's going to be sooo many IS that won't.
It needs to be flexible, I don't want to "punish" Clan players with an actual game restriction they can't abandon.

My Clan would be the Smoke Jaguars fighting against the Draconis Combine, and, as such, can expect similar honour from my opponents, at least initially.

Non-issue.
Wobbies don't get to exist yet.

Likely, it's no surprise that many Clans told their warriors that they can refuse challenges since there'll be fowl play involved.
But I'd most definately adhere to level 1 or 2 rules when fighting against 3025 tech mechs.

1) leg a mech
2) target a mechs weapons
3) use heat to target weapons to over-heat and shut down a enemy mech
4) shoot a mech that is shut down
5) shoot a mech that is knocked down
6) be part of a group of larger mechs ganging up on a single smaller mech
7) Strip and leg a mech and leave it, forcing that mechs teamates to play a "man down"
8) chain fire weapons to prevent my target from being able to get reticle on me and shoot me
9) do whatever it takes to win the fight
I play the role of a mercenary. There is no honor in being a mercenary. It's all about the money and winning.
