I woke up early and decided to fraps the first match I played today, it turned out to be an epic 5 vs. 8 win!

I would just like to say that Facedump, Bonedog, Deathica, and Ifurreadingthisurdead, are some of the best pubs I've ever played with. They didn’t even back down for a moment during the battle, and even when they died they stuck around to help advise the ones that were still alive.

I gotta say, that is pretty awesome. Nice teamwork there. I've had the 5 vs 8 before and it is no doubt a nail biter kind of day. Won ours too but it was close.

Yeah, I'm really glad they fixed the match maker, this happened a lot more before they did

Had a 5 vs 8 back in closed beta, we said screw it and charged right down their throats, we lost the match but not before taking 6 of the buggers with us. Was one hell of a battle though.

I had a 8v4 on Assault, where we... a group of PUGs managed to kill 6 while only suffering a single death. The two remaining pilots on the 8 man side ran for a cap victory.

Even their own teammates were calling them honourless curs and congratulated us on our accomplishment.

Yup, I watched it.... aaaand I see what you did there. :P

"Redemption", hmmm?

All I will say, is that your team... especially that other DDC Atlas "Bonedog", did a great job.

I love those kind of fights. I once had one that was 6 VS 8 against a premade clan on the other side that declared itself before the match started. We lost, but not before taking every single one of the premades with us, lol.

You were damn lucky to get that ammo explosion on the Stalker 5M after you took out his side torso. Without that ammo explosion, the Stalker would have taken out your Atlas buddy.

First off Grats. I know I have been in a number of shorthanded games that our side won. Just had to thank the RNG gods that for a change the numbers on my side were higher quality then the opposing quantity. I also know that I have noticed some teams get a bit cocky when they see the other side is shorthanded, which may help the cause. Heck, I know there have been a few times I have seen the match start off 8 v 6 and decided to announce I would stay out our spawn until engaged or the numbers have evened out. Though once I did that had someone on my team call me out for wanting to wait around until the end to get kills :(. Oh well...Hope you have some more memorable matches while you are around and less 8 v 8 pug games that may show the same numbers but may as well be a 5 v 12... :P

I know, I was thinking, "man, that was lucky, I got his torso, so he lost 1/2 his weapons", then he asploaded, and I was like O_O

FYI you can put all of your LRMs under one group and press Backspace to toggle chain-fire.

I knoe, but the LRM 10 recycles at a different rate than the 20, so I would have to press the controll multiple times in order to toggle past the two lrm 20s during recycle, this setup gives me a ftaster rate of fire than chainfire could

When my team outnumbers the enemy team, normally order to charge is given.
I'm glad you had fraps running for this one, nice win

Nice win pilots, all 5 of you, and film at eleven to boot. These threads are good to see. There's always a chance to win it even at these odds. Never give up, never DC!
