i am waiting for community warfare, thats it. If EvE, planetside, and firefall can do it, no reason MWO cant.

I just love the game and have an amazing memory for posters to not read on the forum. Until the game actually becomes non fun ill continue to sink way to many hours in.

i love the game and have fun playing it... i am not the best player, but even less the worst appearently which helps alot in enjoing it ;)

plus i like to see it grow, i am happy with every single small and tiny progress it is making, and since this is the first game i ever had the joy to follow from it´s baby steps to a fully shaped product (hopefully ^^) i am even more excited...

it is the one and only game at moment that fully catched me and that i am countinously playing, even if there are "more polished" games out there... it´s just exactly my playstyle (apart from some small issues maybe) and typeof game i wanna play...

and i am looking forward to the upcoming 11 month´s and - hopefully - a bright future for MWO

Mech Combat = I.D.I.C.

I am just begining to scratch the surface of this particular MW.

Thats why, if this game is done right, its will be my only game , well. forever.
I find no need to play any other style of game.

The only reason I got into battlefield 2142 and 2 was because the player count on mw4 just got down to sub 50.

The only game that has a shot is RSI because large scale 3d space combat is well.. hard to beat. Thats numero uno, but the pinnacle of that genre was at the dawn of pc games with xwing vs tie fighter. and starlancer several years later.. single player too.

Multiplayer space figher sim ... good stuff.

Even though I sometimes know that cresting that Hill, at that exact moment in time, is probably not the best idea I will have that day, sometimes I simply just can not seem help myself. There is just something about shooting at other Big Stompy Robots, from inside your own Big Stompy Robot, that makes worrying about the consequences, seem less troublesome.

Shoot, Kill or Die. One of those will always provide you with one of the others. And you get to decide which one... ;)

Well, originally it's because it was Battletech. Got to tabletop a few times when I was in my teens, tehn found no one into the game, so I never got to play with it. so this is awesome.

However, while the above is still true, it's now the guys I run with, and the feel of the game. Everything is so laid back, even when it's tense. Don't get me wrong, we play to win, and it gets tight sometimes, but no one rages, and no one gets on anyone. It's always just good gameplay, good advice, and laughs. This game is my stress-relief.

Lone Wolfs, if your reading, you guys rock.

1. - I love designing mechs. Taking a mediocore mech and turning it into a monster is a great challenge. I've made some real bada$$es out of barely used models. PGI, you need a free mechlab in game, smurfy is kicking your butts in that regard (And his webpage is easier to use than the in-game mechlab, fyi)

2. - I love the competition. Can't win em all, but when they're close and you barely pull off that upset win, it's such a sweet feeling.

3. - Giant stompy robots. Because f*ck yeah!

+1 this a lot. It is so easy to use, and feels like an old Battletech mech sheet.

I like the game because:

1) I really like the BT universe.
2) I have hope that the game will be really fun someday, with CW and such.

But I don't play right now because:

1) I'm bored with the deathmatch-like game modes
2) There is no sense of community in the game, so I drop with random people I don't care about
3) The rewards for playing have become slim since the R&R patch, so I'd rather not waste my time playing until the economy is loosened up again
4) There are a LOT of great games to play that are "done", so MWO's repetitive deathmatch pales by comparison

For a while I had fun buying mechs and testing configurations, but the economy has been tightened to the point where it's way too much pain for too little gain. It will take about an extra $75K per match to make it worth my time to grind the game to have fun just building mechs, or will take CW (or at least SOME form of persistent community) to make the game fun enough for me to play regularly. And I don't see CW coming this year, so I doubt I'll be playing much at all. I hope CW gets prioritized, cause I fear the game will be gone before it realizes the promise of a virtual Inner Sphere that so many of us BT fans have been longing for for...well, decades now.

Gee, I hope no devs read this, cause that sounded kind of nasty. But it's the truth; I'm just not having much fun in MWO these days.

The arms race, so that when these so called "Periphery Attacks" come to my front door, I'll be ready for them!

1. The near endless customization in the mechlab, leading to near-endless variety on the battlefield. The amount of customization available on just one single variant of one single chassis is astounding.

2. The ability to easily switch between different play styles and experiences.

3. One- or two-shotting annoying lights with my dual ac-20 catapult.

Hooking up with a good unit that has my pals in it.

This game is about teamwork, having a great team makes the fun value go up by a factor of 10.

I havent been playing.

Still waiting on something resembling the community warfare, and something other than World of Tanks, without the variaty.

Just dropping in for a few quick matches and have a couple of good games. Sometimes trying to get the hang of a new chassis or loadout. Easy simple gameplay with little enough twitch that it can be played successfully with a 200ms connection. While still being an FPS shooter where my skill determines if I hit the enemy or not.

Sure. Content is coming abysmally slow. Many crucial features still missing. So maybe I will stop playing tomorrow. Or maybe not.

Already invested money in the game, if it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't bother playing atm really.

My Clan. As well as the fact that this has been the best MECH Sim I've played yet.

If anyone can suggest a Mech SIM that's better then this, please send me a PM.

I've tried every Mech Game I can get my hands on. This has been the best sim to date. (Ignoring all the other MWs)

I'm a BT fan anyways so I probably would have played no matter what. But one of the things I really like is that its much more methodical than other shooters. This game isn't about snapping off a headshot from halfway across the map, you have to think and plan. How are you going to approach an enemy and where are you going to target them (i.e. you think they have an XL engine so you should go for the torso, ect). I also enjoy the graphics and visuals, mech designs, the fact that both lights and assaults and everything in-between are viable, at least more so than many other games *cough* WoT *cough*. I also like the payment model I don't feel exploited like some f2p games.
