It is their logo, on the head. Good eye too, dont think its a solaris lore mech, I could be wrong.

Read through the thread, there is a canon backstory for this one. I don't know where the get the paint jobs for any of them.

It says she declined several offers to join some Solaris teams. I guess PGI eventually forcibly conscripted her.

She mentioned she would head to Solaris after retirement, that was back in 3039.

With that said, the paint of the AWS-PB is really hard to pass up (If only the black was blue instead).

For the firepower and Efficiency to match

It would either have 20 heat sinks and 2 streaks
or 19 HS and 1 SRM 4.

Could have Art if using the SRM 4.

My bet is Streaks & no Art.

I'm agreeing with you that the mech is better than advertised. It just takes work to make it, well, work and you can't treat it like an Atlas or Stalker. I just got the basics in my FIRST one and am still using the stock 240 as I haven't had the cbills to upgrade the engine. There for, ergo, and etcetera, I'm still getting a handle on it.

Ok so here is the Skinny -

The ONLY way this mech can work is if it has both DHS and Endo steel.

Normaly Endo steel is a no-no on an assault mech.

Notice I had to use a ERPPC in the place of the LRM15 for a place holder.

That is of course using a Standard engine which if it was an awesome I might be forced to do, however if you go an XL route you can get a few more DHS. 20 to be exact and a AMS with an extra ton of ammo for the LRM.

personally I would stick with the standard and ENDO

Endo-Steel works if you need more engine than DHS, Laser-based mechs don't use endo.

I actually kinda dig the paint job. Ascetics should run a big, wide spectrum when it comes to these things.

I'm not sure if I am fired up to drop 6000MC on it, though. I have a Mastered 9M and a full elite 8V already. Other than being a faster 8V, I'm not sure what this one brings to the table for me. I have a fast 9M. So, maybe a fast chassis to load up SRMs into since I'm marginal at best with LRMs.

Right now, if I bought a hero mech, it would be an Ilya for the 3x ballistic love on a fast(er) chassis. And I'm one of those guys that takes my Awesomes out and plays with them. Love my 9M as a nasty hunter-killer.

I was hoping for a dual tube arm 9Ma with ECM.

I worked up two designs. One with XL and one without.

I'm hoping it comes without an XL. 14 DHS is more than enough to run 1 ER PPC, 1 Large laser, 1 medum laser, a SRM4 and a LRM15.
