Irish, you mention Dropkick Murphys and neglect this:

I am saddened.

Argh! Knew I missed something... Particularly egregious considering I'm actually related to some Flannigans (or Flanagans, as the folks spell it) - you'd think I'd remember something like that lol

Might have some newer stuff for ya, Handy

Need more epic - here's some stuff that would be great for background music. Not that any of these would actually get put in, but hey I can dream :D...
300 OST: Returns a King
Star Wars: Republic Commando soundtrack: Vode An and Gra'tua Cuun
Lord of the Rings remix of Clint Mansell's Lux Aeterna
Juno Reactor: Navas
John Wiliams: Duel of Fates. Also, a metal version.
To pay respect to one of MechWarrior 4's better parts, Hunter.

Finally, here's some stuff I'd actually like to blare out my 'Mech's speakers going into battle
Dropkick Murphys: Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya, Rocky Road to Dublin, and Shipping Up to Boston
Sixx A.M.: This Is Gonna Hurt
Chimaira: Destroy and Dominate
Hank WIlliams Jr.: All for the Love of Sunshine (Bonus points if you get the reference :D)
And if I (a light 'Mech lover that plans to pilot a Jenner until something better comes along) alpha some Atlas's rear armor and promptly run like hell, making Three Stooges noises as I go, this will most definitely be coming out of my 'Mech :P

Hahaha guys guys, Im a metal/rock/alt guy.. Mostly anything in the range of 95-08 i would know :D

I've found that Rush's Tom Sawyer fits in any game, no matter the situation.

Have some Disturbed for the MWO playlist then :P
Alternatively, Killswitch Engage

The lack of roots is disturbing... Here's some from N.Z.:

And for after I've finished reducing y'all to wee puddles of molten slag:

Might be a little cliche, but these might be appropriate for an MWO playlist:

Disturbed - Indestructible
Adema - Immortal
Freedom Call - Warriors
Soil - Breaking Me Down
Rob Zombie - Superbeast
Econoline Crush - Sparkle and Shine (or Surefire, either one)

Selections subject to taste, of course...

Knowing me, I may wind up making a playlist with few (or no) lyrics, and going for a slightly... different sound while in the cockpit. You may not be familiar with these, but I like 'em:

Two Steps From Hell - United We Stand, Divided We Fall
Audiomachine - Blitzkrieg
Frank Klepacki - Divine Intervention (also see Haunt or Strangers Attack from the same album, or Destroy from the same artist)
Alan Silvestri - Beowulf Slays the Beast
Steve Jablonski -Scorponok
Immediate Music - on second thought, as much as I consider their music to be pretty epic, I can't think of one befitting 'Mech combat. But worth checking out.
Mark Petrie - Richat

Anyway, I think I've spammed my tastes enough... some really good pieces in this thread, some I haven't heard in a looooong time. Thanks OP!

Prodigy - Diesel Power

If someone can do the embeded video thing I'd be grateful - sulking at my end for some reason.
