ECM mech will just become PPC magnets and more overheating will occur.
This all depends on changes to ECM and streaks between now and when these changes go in as balancing these very overpowered and boring to play light mechs is not going to be an easy task.

BAP is still useless.
The sensor module boosts are something, but ECM is still way to damn powerful compared to all other equipment items in the game.

True, light ECMs are still fast and harder to hit; but some things in life just suck. Fortunately, my aim does not.

My guess is that it will lead to more whining because now "You mean I have to drop 12.5k GXP into these required modules!?!?!?"

As someone who plays only pick up games who also thinks all the OP stuff is silly I think you are not just wrong, but woefully stupid. I hope to see you in a drop because idiots make easy kills.
These changes are being made to silence the whiners, like YOU!

"All" Means everybody so you're wrong on that account. What these changes do is bring more diversity to the field with people mounting more PPCs. It will lessen over time once some realize that is not their weapon of choice. You seem to think this is a one on one game where no one else is around to help you kill the light. You and your friends hopefully have lasers/ballistics/missiles to hit the little buggers.
I agree with Grraarrgghh more and more. What's wrong with me?...........

Yeah, you are whining about "pubbies" is reading comprehension really that tough? You are also whining about changes indirectly while insulting everyone who does not join some middle-school club. Excuses are for losers, so is whining.

Exactly... DDC's are easy to hit, but try to hit with the ppc a fast moving target like a Scout...
And the other thing with the increased sensor module.... just gamers who have mastered their mech can use this modules. And even then it is easy for scouts to use cover or to get closer to the target.
This balancing is just a little step... they have to bring more.

As for the PPC's effects against ECM..nice, I like it, but my question is..do PPCs have any other EMP effects against OTHER things or is ECM the only thing they'll effect with EMP?

Dude, it's okay. Just like, chill out and have a beer or go beatoff or something. You're pretty high-strung about robots.
