Came back to read the responses and find that apparently my thread was thrown to the wolves on Kaetetoa.

I don't really understand why this was considered a thread to bury.

It appeared that most of the people here that disagreed didn't understand the difference between optimal and viable. Nowhere did I say that you can't do well in another mech or with different weapons... I was simply pointing out that your team would likely be better off with you piloting one of the two I mentioned using the weapons I suggested.

But to have my post buried by the mods tells me that I probably won't be seeing any improvements to the situation.
