What Would You Use? 2X Lb 10-X Ac Or 1X Ac/20

2x LB 10-X AC
or
1x AC/20
AC/20 is 20 dmg per hit each 4 seconds but the LB since they are in combo is 20 scattered dmg every 2.5 seconds
which mean 5 dps vs 8 dps
AC can easily do 20 dmg at 800m but the other one will most likely miss or do very low dmg
LB, for me, is more short range dmg like the srm
what would you do?

With less weight, more damage on the location you want to actually hit and better effective range due to the horribly bad LB-10x weapon mechanic, there is no comparison.

Besides it is a larger spread if the LB X are in 2 different components.

The LBX is a mediocre weapon atm and i would not use it before the intended overhaul as a crit weapon.

Twin LBXs for lulz
But you really should throw twin UACs in the question as well

It's quite a fun build to run, had more fun with this build then my other UAC5 or Gauss/PPC builds.

I don't think I have actually seen to many do good with the weapon either it feels very weak.

When I bought my DDC, I couldn't hit a thing with the AC20.
I switched to dual AC 5's because that gives the best Sustained DPS (when Heat is considered as a factor).
I was able to hit accurately at over 600meters, but couldn't hit at all at close range. Since this was intended to be a brawler, I swapped out to dual LB10-X's and now I seem to be able to hit a bit better at under 300m.
Also the main advantage of the LB10-X is that when striking a mech that has no armor, you have multiple chances of causing a critical hit, where an AC20 has only the once chance.
The damage per Alpha strike (at point blank range) is equal, higher rate of fire gives the LB10-X a higher DPS at roughly the same HPS.
Note: I only use the Atlas for the ECM, otherwise I'd rather pilot my Stalker 5M with 4 SRM-6's, an SRM-4 and 5 medium lasers. For brawling damage, no mech beats it.
