I would hope so, luckily many Clan mechs share legs and certain arm designs. With a Timber Wolf you already have half a Mad Dog, the lower arms of a Hellbringer and a lower right arm of a Summoner.
So, we could already have partial models for future mechs. It is usually the torso + some arms that are truely unique.
Also depends on the config, nova arms show up a lot in the 6 ER medium configs on clan mechs as well

... So 3 heavies and a light? If they want to follow the popular mech trend it will be one of each weight class, probably ending up with either
Light: Adder or Kit fox
Medium: Stormcrow or Nova
Heavy: Timber wolf, Summoner, Hellbringer, or Mad dog
Assault: Dire wolf, Warhawk, Execuitoner, or Gargoyle
With the first of each besides in the light category being more likely

6x SRM-6s
2x SRM-4s
1x Narc Missile Beacon
Coring out even the heaviest mechs in two volleys at most whilst still going 119 Kph.

1. It's a year 3059 design.
2. Try to build one and check the heat efficiency with MWO heatscale - it will be about as useful as 6 erppc Stalker.

I think that the Stormcrow and Nova are probably more iconic of the medium weight class. The Shadow Cat wasn't properly introduced till TRO3058 hit the stores.

Adder(puma)-light
Stormcrow(ryoken) or shadowcat-medium
Vulcher or madcat-heavy
Warhawk(masikari) or direwolf(diashi)-assault

One at 25 tons, then near 45 tons, near 65 tons, near 85 tons, and 100 tons.
Viper
Nova
Timberwolf
Dire Wolf
Vulture
Though not necessarily in that order.
This topic should be pinned.

The four I asked for are for every weight class, not spots in a lance.

The Timber Wolf...I'm guessing....otherwise PGI might be in physical danger.

Light: Kit Fox
Medium mechs are even harder to call. Both the Nova and the Storm Crow are solid mechs. I would only lean towards the Storm Crow because it can actually use all its weapons. That, and given the Nova has almost/no torso twist, if the Clans only have four mechs, they need to be flexible enough to make up for the disparity of choices.
Medium: Storm Crow
Heavy mechs.... Yeah, probably the Timber Wolf. I would sooner see the Hellbringer, as it is an ECM equipped mech hunter, but in all likelyhood, yeah.
Heavy: Timber Wolf
Assault mech wise, while I would be overjoyed to see my one and only favorite assault mech, the Warhawk, be released right out of the gates, it is going to be a tremendous balancing challenge just due to the nature of its primary weapon loadout. We are talking sanctioned 60 damage alpha strikes with the primary guns, backed up by a token LRM and a god damned targeting computer. While I can only guess how a TC will work (probably a lead reticule to correct for movement relative to your slowest projectile style cannon set to center mass), it makes for two separate issues of balance. Most likely, the Dire Wolf will be seen first, since it is pretty straight forward: tons of guns, tons of armor, slow. Shove it in the general direction of the enemy and get the hell out of the way.
Assault: Dire Wolf
TL;DR?
Kit Fox
Storm Crow
Timber Wolf
Dire Wolf

The Atlas II something of a rarity that won't really be seen again till the Jih@d.
Atlas II is hilarious to me, since it's exactly the same weight as an Atlas. All you need to do is take the AS7-D and spec it out the exact same way. Viola!
Granted the Hardpoints are different, so it would make for an Interesting Hero Mech possibility (especially if they gave it its own distinct graphic; the same with the Grand Dragon). Personally, I'd rather have the Danielle Custom Atlas, but no reason not to have both eventually.
To be honest though, the Atlas II (or Grand Dragon) are probably never going to be intended as Hero mechs because the aren't custom builds, they're official Redesigns (or variants) of the original, so I'd expect them to come out as regular mechs, if and when they ever do get released.

Nova is
12
ER
Med Lasers.
With how stupid game modes and small maps we have now plus the mentality of the players (close range fights) adding this mech is a suicide.
