Edit your user.cfg in MWO root directory
Type in sys_MaxFPS = 60
enjoy without crashing.
Well done to the early guys who found this fix. Everyone and especially Piranha thanks you!
Cheers

I've been having GFX lockups and studders with this patch but now it's just plain crashing to the desktop...
both the latest nvida release and beta driver have been used and both have GFX lockups.. tho the CTD is on the release driver.
I get no errors from MWO but windows pops up a driver crashed error now and then..
phenom X4 555 black cpu. 8 GB ram, Nvida gts 450 gfx.
edit
ok 5 CTD's in a row now.. fps limit workaround not working for me.

Could be coincidental but it also seems to have reduced or eliminated the texture bug on Frozen City. Used to get that probably 2 out of three matches. Not once last night.

V-sync works for those have monitor has 60hz max fps. If you have an Uber monitor, you might have to limit the fps by User.cfg file.
You can track your fps by press f9 in game.

With my Radeon 4850 the game did not run really smooth until the latest patch, since we can now completely disable shadows etc.
I play on lowest specs on 720p which gives me 60+ FPS most of the time. Will try the limiter now.

Ya I'm hooked up to a 44" Sony Bravia TV so it's running 60 Hz. I've been tracking everything (fps, temps, usage etc...) with MSI afterburner.

Jeye, have you tried wiping your cache as well? I just remembered that I did that just prior to trying the v-sync thing. Maybe it was a combination of both that helped me. Mind you I've only tested it for one evening successfully. Time will tell I suppose.

Guess I'll try the user.cfg fps limiting next.

No obvious connections, just always during actual game play.
Much worse this patch than before.

I also deleted (actually cut / paste to other location, just in case) the cache folder (mechwarrior online/user/shaders) for good measure.
and I'm not sure why but my ingame framerate is 48
