None.

Mid-game, in a match.
Quote
Not applicable. It was just a regular match each time, with or without groups.

I cannot say for sure, but at the very least, if I restart the program and play again, I did not get the crash again until I restarted my PC.

Most are at the highest settings, and I play at 1920x1080 resolution. No changes were made since the last patch.

I reinstalled the game from scratch. Played 5 games on highest settings, full screen mode, played different mechs in each game. Locked up in the fifth game on Forest Colony Snow about 3 minutes in. Had to use taskmanager to kill MWO. Ctrl-Tab wouldn't respond.
One thing I have noticed is when a game starts in full screen mode, just before I get the window, the rest of the screen around the mech lab client starts flashing with alternating black bars horizontally across the screen. I've never seen that happen until this patch.
I wish there was a log to give you. I have the Omicron and OmicronOnline files, but I don't see anything abnormal in them. If those would be use I could send them along. Nothing in the log back up directory. Nothing that looks like a core dump anywhere.

Please attempt to respond to the following questions in your responses:
- Was any error message provided with the crash, if so, which? No. The game just freezes and goes to a black screen. Does it quite often
- Where in the game or menus did the crash occur? Usually during battles. Pretty random on if it's heavy firing, or just moving in on enemy mechs
- What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring? Just playing the game, crashes at random times throughout the match
- Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps? No, it's random
- What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch? Lowest settings, and no, haven't changed them
- What are your System specs? (You can include them in a [spoiler] [ /spoiler])
i7 3770k @ 4.4
16 GB 1600 memory
GTX 670 FTW 2GB
Several new issues have popped up since the last patch. Damage taken to the back, shows up on front armor. AC's seem to be broken, as damage doesn't always register. The mech bay now will randomly show mech stats as "N" with no lines, instead of real stats. Couple others I've seen, but can't remember right off.

To answer some of the common questions: Happened during combat on second crash, but nothing was happening on first crash other than I was in the middle of a torso twist.
My graphics settings haven't changed, still minimum settings.
No error message or anything else. Just a hard lock.
Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850
4GB RAM
Radeon HD 7850
Win 7 x64

didnt change setup or settings. got a screen freeze and only task manager was able to end the game which was not responding.
Same, the game just hangs up in the heat of a battle. Happened 2 times on 2 matches on forest colony.

No error messages other then 'Mechwarrior has stopped responding', which pops up usually after a match when the game would normally return to the Mechlab.

You should read either the patch notes or the Command Chair thread on Camo. All mechs were put to default paint (green) and any MC spent was refunded.

I play on max everything, and have never had trouble related to my graphics settings.
If I had to guess what the cause is, it'd have to be some kind of interaction with emptying your missile bins (dunno if it'd be related to partial LRM volleys). This is the first time I've encountered this particular bug.
To be clear, there was no error message, just the game locking up. I had to go to task manager and manually kill it (it did say it was Not Responding in the task manager).

No error message
Crash has occured multiple times in the gaming screen

Crash happens when I am in one place for an extended period of time.
Crash is repeatable but exact steps unknown
I have not changed video settings and they were fine last patch

Instructions:
1. Have a friend take a lot of LRMs (60-80). Fire them at a target close to you.
2. Stand near the target when the LRMs hit - the closer the better
3. Look directly at the explosion
4. Game freezes
My system specs are as follows:
Intel Core i7 3770K
16GB memory, 1600MHz, 9-9-9-27
Asus 660 GT
It does not seem to matter what your graphics setting are set on. I received the crash on all medium as well as all low. A friend confirmed this crash, as he was able to replicate it every time using the exact same steps. His system specs were:
Intel Core i7 3770K
16GB memory, 1600MHz, ?
? 670 GTX
We tested some additional systems:
Any friend with an AMD card was unable to replicate the crash.
A friend with an NVidia 560 GTX was unable to replicate the crash.
A friend with an NVidia 480 GTX was unable to replicate the crash.
I have no more data at the moment. If you need anything, please ask.

The thread includes a description of the freeze bug and some investigation around it, along with instructions to replicate it almost every time. If you need further information, please ask.

Downloaded Patch 1 of 2.
Goes to Patching 1 of 2.
Then without any interaction bring up the 'Quit Patch' warning. I Click Cancel, then basically it just goes back to the patching but the progress bar does not move.
Cannot patch the game to latest, please help!

Win 7 pro
Intel Core i7 3770K
16GB memory, 1600MHz, 9-9-9-27
GTX 670
All settings at highest...
The first time it happened I was able to switch to desktop with Alt+TAB and when I switched back to the game the freeze was gone and I was able to play on.
The second time it happened the sound went into a loop too and nothing helped than to end the task with the task manager.
