It is bought for 650MC
In a year the house began to be more expensive.
From you it took away. Returned 650MC...
Also suggested to buy anew... For 4250MC
It was YOUR HOUSE... It was already bought...
You fall in love with it?
Also you won't count as deception?

The one-time pattern prices are really quite reasonable now, and something to be considered whereas before I wrote them off as something I could never make room in my game budget for.

I do believe what you purchased allows you to switch back and forth from phranken to another pattern, whereas the one-time unlock, cheap as it may be, requires you to stick with the phranken scheme once you paint your mech or risk losing access to it in the future.
So good if you like to repaint your Atlas to something fresh and new every once in a while, but if you were planning on painting it a certain way and leaving it forever, yes... quite expensive for what it is.

I can confirm that with the single use pattern that once you switch it you can no longer get that pattern back. Also, when you buy the chassis unlock it can be switched between other unlocked patterns without losing it. That does give the chassis unlock added value, but 1,250 is still quite steep in my mind.
I also agree with you Ryft that the one-time purchase of colours is a great value and I will indeed be buying more colours in the near future. This patch so far has been great as well! Looking forward to trying out new variants with the buff to energy weapon's heat. Just wish the chassis unlock was a little better priced, or at least 2,500 to unlock for all mechs instead.

+1 for converting pattern purchases to unlocks.
+1 for pattern pricing (though chassis unlock is a joke, does not make sense)
-1 pricing point for colors is too high.
Across the board color unlocks are nice, but at $5 a pop, nobody's gonna buy them as an impulse buy. Especially when you need 3 colors for a pattern. Your customers are savvy and will use the basic colors, plus the pc gamer colors, plus a select few purchased colors. They will agonize over a mech paint job then not change it once it is applied.
At 250MC (about a buck), more people would unlock colors on impulse. And change colors on a whim.
Two other suggestions:
- Go through the pallettes of the armed forces of the major military powers, pull out the top 16 colors and make those included with the game. Desert Tan, Brown, Forest Green, Blue, Dark Red, Black, Grey, Khaki, OD Green etc.
- Go through the banners and insignia of the major military powers and package their colors into a color pack. 10 colors for about 2000 MC. (Vivid colors like red, maroon, green, yellow, white, orange).
Finally, Phranken. Badly handled. Taking away something someone paid for (cold hard cash) and then charging them 4x the cost to get it back is just wrong. Those who purchased the pattern before this patch should get it back on the mechs that had it, and have the unlocks (chassis, not single use) for their mistreatment.

Unfortunately I assumed it could be applied to all mechs.

Actually, it would be theft. I'm pretty sure PGI will fix this.

The PC Gamer scheme permanently unlocks red/black/gray for free.
Cost of 1 all black Cicada w/ Red pin stripe = 0CBills and 0MC!
Plus I got refund for having previously purchased those colors.
whoo hoo!

And that will take away then that...
Real money, instead of earned in game...
What to buy?
"Heroic" robot - all not can carry ECM...
Configurations poor.
"heroic" Are configured not for game in a network, against real players, and it is unclear whom for whom.
Only are painted beautifully.
To pay for it?
The joke with rise in prices on already bought seems to me and to take away it.
Discrimination and deep disrespect of the rights of players.
Bat...
Faunds robot not sale...
"heroic" - less sale...
Were mistaken having sold and again to pay to you "ALL" real, not game money!

You went mad - add that that deprived of you ALREADY BOUGHT and this impudent robbery.
Children here and now can admire that gave them paint...
But PLAYERS - expected painting for teams and fractions!
Instead of impudent infringement of purses!

With this pricing, it's like April Fools' Day came a couple months early, rather than Christmas coming a couple months late.

Thanks PGI....I think customization in a game like this is very important. And also is important to those competitive clans/corps that want to outfit their whole unit with paint options.
Now just looking for CUSTOM merc corp. image patches. And if there is a way that you could have MC sharing, or CBILL sharing for the wearing and distribution of those patches. I know that might be a hit on databases, but possibly a future idea?! PLZ!!!
Great job with this one though.
