Before you had to pay for each single mech, now you unlock the coulor permanently.

Are they permanent unlocks for all your mechs (I suspect not), or is it just per-mech? (Both of them are better than pre-patch, but I'm curious.)

I asked for a frequent painters pack for 7500 MC, so when I can log in, I'm going to go spend 7500 MC on paints.

Well, still, it's a lot better than before, so TY.

Colours unlock for all Mechs. Patterns unlock for a Chassis (IE. you buy it for your HBK 4SP, and it is also unlocked for your 4P, 4G, 4J, etc.)

So basically, any color one buys, is put into a permanent pallete for that player, for any and all mechs that player owns. Buy once, use always?

For patterns, same thing but restricted to chassis?

If you own and were painting a number of mechs in a semi-consistent color scheme, it actually just got a LOT cheaper. If you only ever want to own a few mechs or own a lot of mechs and paint them all in very different schemes, it got more expensive.

ALL colors are now permanent use. There are no single use. The Camo would have to be the permanent use, or it would actually be a lot more expensive than the standard single use.
