Well... just spent nearly 2,000MC, plus comBills, on colors...


And I'd been vetoing the paint system till now. I did say I would buy when the system was overhauled to something more permanent, so great job!

Also, it looks like the saturation's been bumped? It'd be nice if we could get specularity controls next, something to adjust how shiny our 'mechs are...

Sorry to say this but I have to say something. You know guys it would be nice if you would offer a few more colours to basic like black and maybe one or two others. Or at least....at least give people the option.....to spend some of their c-bills on more colour options! With all due respect....i've given you guys quite a bit of real world money thus far! Not all of us are rich. Some of us have child support and lawyers bills ETC ETC ETC just food for thought. I'm sure you're already raking in tons of money as it is. Great game but you should include a tad more or give people more options, especially since many of us have already shelled out tons of real world money AS IT IS.

You're comparing a "HOUSE" to a game. A game should come at a reasonable cost WITHOUT having to keep paying real world money over and over and over and over again for different skills and varients and colours...etc etc etc etc etc over and over again.

Love this Patch! Great Job Guys! It doesn't fix it all but it's a GREAT IMPROVEMENT!

Also while I have to admit that I was very worried about the cost of the colors and designs my worries have been relieved. I'm happy with how it's working out.

I see you guys have been listening to the suggestions of the community. Great job.

I won't be purchasing paints as I am not concerned with how my mech looks when Im driving in first person,but I'm sure you guys will be making a lot of money in MC sales.

Between sales like this and the Trial Mech sale, you should have plenty of funds to keep expanding the game.

I guess the chassis unlock is for those people with undecided minds, used to swapping back and forth between camos. Still, not gonna buy it.

And conserning the Phraken. You don't HAVE to buy the Phraken colors. You can go to the color choices and swap out them to something similar, like PC gamer red and some camo light grey. Problem solved.

Still, I think the prices are bit steep. Now people will think long and hard what colors they will buy, when with prices like 250/500 instead of the 500/1000 people would be more impulsive.

I like my mechs varied, if I buy any of the 1k MC colors, that'd had to be used on every mech to be worth the 1k, which I don't want to do.

Also the pattern one time use price is perfect, but make it unlocked acros weight class or lower the price to half.

This is an improvement, but like others said there needs to be 2-3x more basic colors to be fair even if they're the duller of the spectrum.

Prices for class unlock is still too high, single use is ok.

Other prices should just stay around the "sale" pricing or at least compromise in the middle, camo 500mc, base colors 750k or 1m c, colors 250-300. etc.

Otherwise imo less impulse and more selective luxury of only grabbing 1 nice color scheme, where in other games with more commodity pricing I'd spent a lot more cash overall buying multiple cosmetic armors, camo's, etc and enjoyed it a lot more.

Please post a sale for the other colours! I NEED Dayglow orange, but I have already spent 2000 MC on Dayglow lime and lavender. You suckered me into buying over 6000 MC worth of Camo yesterday, when you put the rest on sale you can have the rest of my founder's MC

Iam not that happy with the colouring. Don't get me wrong, the range of colours is lovley, I dig those! But I can't choose which parts of my mech to be coloured. I even can't colour my mechs totly blue or instance, as the joints seem to stay greenish. I can't paint my mech totaoly blue with only grey shoulders for example, or only one shoulder red. There are allways armorplates somehwere on the mech which also get coloured, so I can't realy customize my painscheme the way i want.
It is a step in the right direction, absolutely, but... well, I had hoped for more paiing freedom with those prices : /
Anyhow, good job so far, thx.

That's probably coming in the future along with decals at a later stage. Once more important stuff is finished.

While I think the pricing of the colors is too high (I think 200 MC for standard and then 300 MC for the "better" colors would be more reasonable.) I will disagree about having them all for C-Bills.

Well.. maybe if the "good" colors are 10,000,000 CB each or something...

Anyway, appearance items are fair game for MC for sure. League of Legends has all skins requiring payed currency, except for one crappy skin you can get by liking Riot Games on Facebook.
