The price are horrible this is just make me more angry. DONT BE SO ****** GREEDY like others is this business...
I thought first this game will be good and fair with players and dont want just rob our money... Game for players is a good idea!
Game for just only business is bad! This is the first step this game going the wrong way. What will come next? We have to buy extra ammo for real money or what?
I have to say what the post say before me.
Please don't ruin it for us for funs with whole cash thing. We know this is business but dont be so greedy.
Seriously.....
One thing i know if this thing will going deeper i left this game even i like very much!!!

Agree with the rest of your post though, it's quite normal to start high, although, since in this case they refunded everything, it makes no difference.

The devs are good enough by not making any purchase affecting the game. There's no Pay To Win here so they have to get their income from SOMETHING. Oh hey, colors! Oh no, cheapskate self-entitled whiners think they are entitled to every color! There's even a guy complaining they refunded all of the MC and c-bills before introducing the new pricing, feeling entitled to the previous purchase for some reason. The time you spent while using paid colors you got for free since they refunded it!
And then there's this guy who said the pricing is "greedy". Yes, they're greedy because you couldn't buy White for cheap even when Light Grey is 250MC. You just neeeeeed that white because it's soooooo important.
You people are disgusting. Such a sad bunch of whiny entitled manchildren. You're whining over paint colors on internet space mechs. Pathetic.

As per the above post, I don't think the paints are really to expensive (still a bit but expensive but what can you do) but the patterns for unlimited are a rip off.
At least I didn't have to waste some more money on some colors since I got the pc gamer ones for free. I did buy two premium paints though which will probably end up going on sale in a while :/

Okay you need to understand how MC works. PGI is making $0 off of you buying any color with MC. They make their money when you buy a package amount of MC from $5 to $100. So there is no reason at all for them to cost so much when I can just as easily spend the MC on mech bays and mechs that I can use outside of the mech bay. I can't see my paint scheme when I'm in a battle.

if you really need to save up for it, then the next time you decide to go to a Fast Food restaurant, don't. There, now you have 5 dollars. You're welcome!

I slid my credit card sensually out of my wallet and laid it gently down on the smooth wrist rest of my cold, mechanical keyboard. I shivered. It was ready. Ready to be the instrument of the electronic transfer of funds from my turgid credit account into your hungry, waiting payment system. It was there, ready. It ached, it burned with the passionate desire to spend.
I whispered into the sultry darkness of my study, "Account-wide colour unlocks" and my credit card trembled in sweet anticipation for what could come next. What it had waited so long for. What it needed so badly that it almost hurt.
I opened the game client and held my breath as I placed my hand on the mouse, slowly tracing a line along the curves of my HBK-4H as I drew the cursor closer, closer to the "ADD MC" button. I knew what was coming but I wanted to savour this moment on this the night of my first MC purchase since the Founders program.
I clicked. My computer's hard drive purred as a browser window appeared. I scrolled down and looked deeply into the endless depths of your Credits page. You hissed, desperately "ADD MORE CREDITS" and I knew that you needed this as badly as I did. We yearned for each other and there was no shame here anymore. We both knew what we wanted and it was time to take it and to hell with what the world thought of us. Tonight, none of it mattered. All that mattered, PGI, was you and I, here, together. The moment drew closer. I knew I had some extra money this week, so I caressed the left mouse button and selected a larger amount. I gripped my credit card in one hand and my mouse in the other as my cursor slid down toward your beautiful, green BUY NOW button...
But then, in just a single moment of hesitation, a thought, just a wisp of doubt entered my mind. "Wait a sec," I said quietly to myself, unable to make that final, sweet click on your button, "how much does this crap cost again?"
I desperately clicked on the game client, selected a mech and opened the Camo Spec tab. And then I saw it and all my fears were realised. It was all a fraud and though your sweet promises of account-wide colour unlocks tempted me still, I knew then that it could never be. The moment was gone and I would never again be so innocent. I opened my wallet and slipped my credit card back inside. It was over.
Seriously guys. I want to buy
Let's get right on that K? K.

I bough 27 colors and the tiger stripe camo that covers 6 of my mechs. It averaged out to $1.50 per item. That is a good price.

There is a difference between saying something is overpriced and suggesting that everything should be free. When you see this much "vitriol," then I think it's fair to say the pricing is not anywhere near the sweet spot. There are always going to be people who won't pay anything no matter what, you can't help that, but the fact is with this pricing scheme they are loosing potential revenue because they have gone way over the line.
I'm currently sitting on a big fat pile of MC and I want to spend it. I really do. But there is no way in hell I'm going to **** it away at these prices.

Exactly, I suffer from mech OCD. If they were at an affordable price I would buy every last one of those colors, even if I never used them. With as much as they change them, one color that looks good now might be replaced by another, and another, and another.
I'm sure this isn't the only release of colors we will see either, so just like with mechs, add more, more to buy.

If you don't have it, find a back issue online and get some colors cheaper.
