[redacted post}

So I cant read it seems. Thats fine pgi. Bt because you cant code in a little button that says, "hey you theres an xtra mc cost to this patten" you just drove off another paying customer.

Very shady and underhanded.

The design of phranken is, just like dazzle, tiger, etc. have a small price to it. But phraken has its own unique colors to it, which is why the price goes insanely high. I don't agree with the price, but you can pick other colors which may end up cheaper.

From the Patch notes:

- Special patterns such as Phranken will automatically apply appropriate colors and add the cost to your purchase price. You can chose not to buy the colors by going to the color tab and resetting the colors to a default green, or unlocked color.

Looks like a scam to me. Maybe you should let people know this in advance. I hate paying more than I thought I was paying for something. You guys really dropped the ball on this one. Fix it. NOW!

The free PC Gamer colors would probably work OK... (if he has them)

Dude, is it really that hard to just take one single look before you buy something? When you select Phranken, you see the complete cost and all the single colours you're going to buy with it. It's there, 2 centimeters away from the Save-button you had to click to buy it. If you are not able to progress that much information, I guess no customer support in the world can help you.

Haven't gotten home yet, but do they display an itemized list regarding the purchase? If not they should. It also makes sense that if you're purchasing a single purchase skin, you'd have the option of only getting a single purchase color...or am understanding the issue properly?

Confirmation boxes, they are not a revolutionary new feature. We should probably have some.

What they should do is sell the pattern without colors, and let you buy the colors you want. No confusion there.

yeah the pattern cost 125 mc single use, but the colours thats needed for the phraken is 1000mc each but as already mentioned you can change the colours to those you already have unlocked for free.

If this has happened to you, simply as for a refund via their support email.

That being said, it needs to be addressed. The price tag analogy is good. There needs to be a total or checkout or confirmation of some kind to let you know how much is actually being charged.

Ya got to love stupid people... I mean right there at the bottom right, it shows you the amount it costs, and the cost of the colors when you select that pattern.

Ah I just saw all my colours had been reverted to green and was about to call PGI a bunch of money-grubbing *******s then noticed that they had actually given me my MC back.

So, you're off the hook PGI, but please stop fkng around with your hardcore customers and concentrate on making the game bigger.

It shows the MC costs right above the "save" button.
They do need to make it more clear that purchasing a cammo pattern and purchasing colors are separate.

Some of you guys need to read the patch notes btw...

While adding confirmation boxes to MC purchases is a very good idea, it's not like the UI doesn't show you the costs for what is being purchased.

I actually agree with the OP. If something is listed for 125 or 5000 MC the seller (PGI) needs to clearly state what is being purchased. Applying bonus charges in fine print doesnt even work in the automobile industry anymore. Yes he should have paid more attention blah blah but this one is on the seller.

You want to raise funds for the game then be honest and up front with the consumer, not shady.
