Sometimes not being canon can be good. In the comics, Luna And Celestia both have a lot more personality, Spike's more bad ***, There's less hearts and pastels and more style and shading, even more pop-culture references. As it stands now, I'd (almost) rather read the comics then watch the cartoon.

Didn't even watch it. Paused the vid to switch to HD, took a glance at the comments, saw some.... bad things, then clicked on the link to the creators sickoart page..... In less then five seconds I was repulsed enough to know that I want nothing to do with this. Guys like this are the reason relatively sane guys like Me can't enjoy nice things.
{Scrap} like this is also the reason why as much as I get a kick out of doing My crumby pony pictures, I can never set up an account and post them in a gallery, because I'll be lumped in with mentalcases like this.

Dude, Davey is an official Hasbro animator. He just does stuff like this to blow off the steam from making little kid shows all the time Think Ren and Stimpy version of MLP (with a little Dragonball Z thrown in). If you absolutely can't man up to watch a flash animated cartoon, at least DL the music. It is absolutely addicting.

He is the guy who animated the Cupcakes story though...

Doesn't mater if He's an animator for Hasbro or not, sick is sick. Have you seen his deviant art page he linked to? It's full of cartoon characters mutilating one another. When a normal person wants to blow off steam from work, they usually have a beer, watch some tv, go party, get laid, Etc. Drawing cartoon characters slowly cutting each others guts open ain't normal. If I had any interest in snuff films, I'd go watch a snuff film. If I'm watching a cartoon about magical talking horses, Chances are I'm interested in, well silly cartoons about magical talking horses.

Also, about the "man up" line: Really? Not wishing to watch some sick losers fetish means I have to man up? Do people still fall for troll lines like that?
