Nice. This sounds like it would fit as BGM in an old school RPG, like when You enter a town or shop.
....... Great, now I want to fire up My copy of Lunar: the silver star.

Maybe that's why I like pony music so much, because its musical themes are reminiscent of the music in games I grew up on. Even if the instrumentation is different. And they have vocals.

Mr. Nobel, may I ask how you make these snippets of aural bliss? Like, what programs and input do you use?

Pretty sure we've made it plainly apparent that we don't give a flying flank about what haters think. =P

epidemic. Captain Picard, sir, I would not blame you or Commander Riker if you just blew the enterprise up in the forums here.

It's quite simple: I use a program (in this case, Cubase 5) which is capable of using sound libraries, such as EastWest Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra, and then work the program much like a typical composing program. The easiest comparison is Apple's Garageband.
After the technological aspect, all that's really left is up to the ear and the heart!

Thank you sir. I have very simple experience with NoteWorthy Composer which more or less just makes MIDIs; the creation of such deep pieces always intrigues me. =)

I give this failed attempt at trolling a 2 out of 10.

What warranted a 2 and not a 0?

The fact that he actually came to the pony thread to make a post.

I'm guessing usage of a Star Trek image. It certainly wasn't the text, that's for sure.

I watch enough Star Trek to know that Picard would be totally okay with ponies. Besides, at the very least we know Q is. Posted Image

I watched the pilot the other day and it was very interesting to see the initial characterization of Q. He was much more... sinister... than in his later appearances. I'd like to have watched All Good Things next, but other people wanted the TV. /grumble

I'm sure the ilkhan will forgive us if we stop discussing his post and go back to the important part of this thread: the ponies.

Slenderpony is exactly what I thought of when I saw the Changelings (okey, it was more "Enderpony!" ala MineCraft, but same thing).

Yeah, I was planning on sleeping tonight, but I guess that can wait for a few more hours.
