Only little time is left before season 4 starts!

Because of that I'll start a 25 hour mare-athon on friday. Starting with Season 1 Episode 1 and ending with Equestria Girls. That's 65 Episodes of ponies with a total playtime of ~23 hours and 50 minutes as well as the movie with another 70 minutes for the total of 25 full hours of pony greatness.

Of course I might need to take some breaks to grab some applepie or muffins or to get rid of them.

I will not be streaming, in case you hoped for something like that, but I will keep you updated on my physical and mental health and my progress through the episodes.

I'd do something similar as well, but I'd prefer to watch the episodes fully sober (as in MLP-sober, not alcohol/tiredness). Plus, the times at which I'd have to start/end would be pretty unpleasant (3PM to 5PM next day... not exactly my favorite time of day not mentioning the fact I'd have to cut out EQG to fit it in as I get home at ~3:20PM).

More or less the times I have to use. But I'll already start at 1PM because I have to calculate some room for breaks.

For some weird reason, I do not have plans for the coming weekend. Which I only realized yesterday, so I came up with that stupid idea. It's the first weekend this year, where I do not have any plans from friday to sunday.

Update 1 (14:10 CET)
First 3 Episodes down... 62 to go
I'm feeling fine!

Update 2 (16:20 CET)
Three hours in and still fine. Need to make a first break though. I need to go fetch a paket (for new case fans dor my PC). Seems I missed the doorbell with my headset on.

Update 3 (17:15 CET)
Lost almost an hour and parts of my sanity. No more breaks for the rest of season one!

Update 4
Sanity seems to be back where it belongs. Just finished episode 15 of season 1. By the next update I'll (hopefully) have finished season 1.
Need to grab something serious to eat soon.

Update 5 (23:50 CET)
Season one finished! I don't know how it happened, but I'm behind schedule. Already most of the first 11 hours are gone and I still have 39 more episodes to go and the movie on top (total estimated playtime 15 hours and 30 minutes). If this keeps up, I'll have to drop the movie from the list or extend the mare-a-thon.
First signs of being tired show up.

Update 6 (02:30 CET)
It's saturday morning, I'm well into season 2 and I am tired. I'm catching myself, whispering the dialogs with the ponies, even though it's only the third time I'm actually whatching these episodes.

Update 7 (05:30 CET)
Just finished episode 15 of season 2 (Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000). 41 episodes down, 24 to go. I am dead tired! Time for a breakfest with a stroooong coffee.
Will I survive 10 more hours of Pony?

Season 2 complete. I can see the light (as it's no longer dark outside)! Crystal Empire here I come! Only 13 more episodes and the movie and I'm ready for season 4. I'm on my third pot of coffee.

Update 9 (Saturday, the 23rd,15:00 CET)
Almost there! Just one more episode of season 3 and then the movie awaits me. Yes, I'm clearly behind schedule. Coffee no longer seems to have a positive effect.

Watching the End-Credits of Equestrial Girls right now. I'm done! I'm as tired as one can be.
New season here I come. But first I'll take a shower to wake myself up a little.

I'll move all updates into a single post after that.

All in all it took me, 27 hours and 40 Minutes to complete the mare-a-thon, including all breaks. Please remind me to not do this again.

I'll try to stay awake for the rest of my evening to not get completly out of my usual sleep cycles. Maybe I'll find a place to watch the new episodes somewhere, but I guess I don't want to see them until I'm truly awake again. Please no spoilers until then (or put them into spoiler tags). Thank you!

That was my intention, so you weren't wrong about that.
I already do know a few things about the first episode, but nothing that's connected together to make much sense. You spoiler tags weren't really needed, but I appreciate it that you edited your post to include them.

Oh, god, it's killing me. Checked out the YouTube version, but it's pretty terrible quality despite being 720p - awful compression artifacts with movement and whatnot, so I'm gonna hold out for something better. But it's almost physically painful to wait!
