Ponified trailers are really great, but when done by Hub with added official animation and voiceovers... that's a whole another level of awesome.

Seems like it falls pretty solidly under the "parody" and they only snagged some dialogue without using any actual clips from the trailer. Overall, I'd say Disney would be shaky on a copyright challenge.

That said,their animators are probably chuckling, their marketers are horrified, their legal is studying the potential, and their execs probably have no idea what going on.

Also, brilliant trailer. I applaud, even as I am aghast that the Hub started doing that thing that folks have been using their stuff to do for years now. It's almost like there's synergy.

What about discord? I know he is evil but...I like him...can't you like him too? I think he just want to make everyone happy but he is doing it the wrong way. Come on chocolate rain! That's wonderful!

He's not evil... at least not anymore.

When it comes to Discord, the thing I like about him the most is how above the whole game he is. No matter what he does, he does it for the ultimate purpose he's already planned ahead. Until the finale, that is, when the reformed part of him shows up and only adds to him, in my opinion.

I mean, Q's fine, but simply copy-pasting him would be a disservice to ST's creators... plus, he was used pretty sparingly if my research was correct, not even leaving enough room for a straight up copy-paste past a few episodes, which is a point FiM's passed already.

... yeah, I'm not a headcanon-using type of person, but I always get a chuckle out of how perfectly things fall in place like this.

I noticed the cereal box in the background, Horse Flakes. Would have been funnier if it said "Oats" and instead of a cereal box it was a feed bag.
