so i got's my self a hunchback for my founder mech... to my pleasure the mech lab demo video used a hunchback, but i noticed something distressing...when he was ripiing out the ac 20 to replace it with the ac 5...there were 0/0 energy hardpoints... : ( this made me a little sad as i enjoyed fits similar to the swayback, so i watched it again to count all the energy hardpoints total. there were 9, respectable, and with 3 already in use fitting another 6 medium lasers shouldn't be a problem...accept 3 of the hard points are in the center torso...meaning as far as i can tell only 2 are actually usable...and there fore the swayback is an invalid load out, at least from what little i can gather from that video, also i was invisioning a shoulder mounted energy glob labbled 'bass cannon' with a vinyl scratch skin...which is the real reason i'm upset...

If you want a Swayback, you'll need to buy the Swayback variant. All the Founder's 'Mechs are of the Default Variant only. They made this clear in one of their Q&As. So you're still in luck, but it will take some work or money before you can get it.

Right. The founder's version is the original -G, which is a ballistic mount on the torso, plus energy weapons on each arm and the head.

On the other hand, you couuuuld replace it with a Gauss Rifle instead of the AC/20...

Oh and to anyone who's interested... Fallout Equestria: Project Horizions just updated today! 47 chapters so far, and not done yet!

While not the original by Kkat, Fallout Equestria: Project Horizions is an 'offical' spinnoff of Fallout Equestria, oked by Kkat. It follows a security mare named BlackJack on her exploits in the wasteland after leaving her vault. This fic is NOT for the faint of heart as it has some very, VERY dark themes, including but not limited to, Homosexuality, Rape, dismemberment, gore, vore, Gelding [if you know horse terms, you know that one], and murder or not only adults but kids.

That being said, it IS fallout so that's par for the course. The fic is well written and arguably handles characters psychology better than FoE did. Still if you liked Fallout Equestria, check out Project Horizions

Homosexuality is a dark theme? That line turned out a bit awkward, I think...

Anyway, I started to read PH a while ago, but dropped it after a few chapters. It wasn't bad, honestly, but it just didn't grab my attention like the original did. Since then I've spoiled myself on much of the plot via TV Tropes, and judging by that, my reaction would have been mixed had I kept reading, though the fic does seem to have its moments - I cracked up when I read about Blackjack's real name or about her reputation as "Queen Whiskey", for example.

I have been doing some reading and thinking recently and would like to bounce an idea off of you. What do you think of “wild fire” and “heat wave” induced brown/black outs being used as a surreptitious means of covering the Nuke Alert Civil Defense evacuations for the self styled Elite?

I would like your opinion on just how useful power outages in major cities could be for the timely evacuation of those in the know given the likelyhood of several false starts and the uncertainty surrounding an eventual nuclear war. Thankyou for your time.

You can replace the ballistic weapon with another one. You could even replace the arm or head mounted ones with other energy weapons. But each variant has it's own mix of hardpoints, and the Founder's is the original. For example, you should be able to strip the AC out and mount PPC's in the arms, or a pulse laser instead of a regular one in the head.

I think some would say that yes, it is, I'm not in that group, and happily support the GLBT community, but I felt the warning would be good for some since fans seem squicky about sexuality in general Homosexuality must be a big deal.

And a little homage to Lilpip, because Lilpip is best vault pony.

Ah well, as long as i can replace the AC20 with an AC10 or LB-X10 or UAC10 i'll be happy enough with my 4+1 StarterMechs . .
Untill i can afford to get me a 4P and throw out either the small laser and some armor for another heat-sink or the small laser and one medium laser for more armor and heat sinks . .
The 4P will ruin oh so many days O.o

Warnings about Homosexual content are the norm. There have been times when to practice it was to be subject to capital punishiment. There are large portions of the world where you can still get into serious trouble for the practice today.

I consider it to be a sin for example, and since all such sins acrue to the accounts of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross 2000 or so years ago I avoid it. But as sins go, there are much worse sins. Take gossip, or judging another for their transgressions, now these things are not to be tolerated at all. Sexual orientation as a system of weakness from the genetically programed sin nature is hardly the worst temptation a person could be subject to. Heterosexual adultery was a capital offence too you know, and pound for pound a far more difficult problem for society.

In any case it is polite to recognize that, generally speaking, humanity is pretty skittish and crazy around the subject of sex period; and thus strong social taboos arise in various cultures in defining the protocals in which all manner of carnal activity is deemed good or bad. Oh and anther thing, for God's sake don't let anyone tempt you into a guilt trip for any of this stuff, straight, bi, or whatever... self righteous judgement of another's sin will send you to God's woodshed faster than just about anything, and guilt is the sin that keeps on giving and is thus considered right up at the top of things not to do.

Consenting adults behind closed doors and all that is the principal behind warning people up front on subjects such as these, I just wish we had the same sort of social rules for Gabby Gums behavior as well, but Moral Degenerarse-y is a big ol blind spot in todays world.

Hope this helps.

Pony Script: I just now groked the cutie marks on the arguing couple who got zaped by Princes Cadence's love spell. The Stallion has three 4 leaf clovers and has thus gotten lucky, the mare has a nut and bolt and has thus been.... Carnal relations without love are empty and meaningless and so the wicked princess intervened with her "love" spell... Lauren Faust is an evil genius.

GET OUT OF MY HEAD... : P
yeah, i was think of doing something just like that, maybe throw a triplet of MG's in the shoulder mount just so i have something to click while i wait for my heat to lower...
i have a feeling i'll be leaning heavly on energy weapons in this game like in all other MW games because they are more fogiving to poor aim.
I sopose i can live with out a shoulder mounted PPC on my founder mech...(if you can call that living...)
