I was about to say something about that pic, but I already like your post, so there's not much more to say than; "I like it"
It'd be better if those ponies had "proper" cutiemarks though, but that's not your fault... ^^
Some of you may remember the OC I posted about a week (?) back...
My GF actually "caught" me drawing him, and even though I didn't get her to watch an episode with me yet, she found it kinda cute that I would draw stuff like that and also kinda liked those cartoon-ponies, so she asked me to draw one for her.
She doesn't have a name, and the reason for being a blankflank is that my GF somehow didn't like the idea of cutiemarks, so I didn't add one...
So there goes that:
This next one is one I wanted to do after I finished Rusty.
It's a first drawing I just finished, I think I'll have to go over the wings again, need to change them a bit, other than that I'm quite happy with how she turned out.
Need to clean up the image a bit before I add color to it, and I actually want to draw a bit of background this time...
still gotta come up with a cutiemark and a name for her, but that still has some time until I'm done with everything else.
I also plan to create a few, more sophisticated pictures featuring her and Rusty once I'm done with the pic above.
So let's hear it guys! Got any valuable feedback/criticism for me?

Other than that, the back ear is typically not seen when looking from a 3/4 view. Right now the hair has sort of a flat feel to it, but would seem to have more bulk to it if you remove the back ear.

Yeah even i thought those were weird markings, if you got a proper pony afraid pic, that would be most helpful, as i am trying to use Photoshop and Zim more.

Now, I'll +1 to the notion that the legs should be wider at the bottom and thinner where they connect to the body. Getting the curves right on this for the rear hooves is especially aggravating.
Now, what I will not +1 is hiding the ear on the other side of the pony being viewed. That's in taste, but I find that it is more visually impressive and cute to have both ears visible at accurate locations. It's also a bit more challenging to keep track of both ear positions in more rotated postures.

I seem to have trouble with that all the time actually. I'll have a look at it, but my goal is not to perfectly copy the style of the show as long as the result looks good, and it's still very obvious that it's supposed to be a "MLP:FiM"-pony.
That said though, I see that the forelegs look a little boxy which is due to what you brough up.

On that note, I think Aresye's main concern there was the mane actually.
It looks a bit flat because I drew it that way I actually like putting the second ear there, simply because it's supposed to be there, and at least to me, it looks strange if it's missing. I'm thinking about adding a little more volume to the mane, at least the part left to the "foreground-ear", not too much, but I think it may actually lead to that ear being mostly covered. maybe even to the point where it can be removed completely... Will see about that...
Anyway, thanks for the feedback guys!
I just started with digital art as a whole a few weeks back, so I appreciate all the feedback/help I can get! ^^
