If you liked playing TT and don't mind the slower pace of a turn based strategy game, I think you'll like Tactics. The twitch gamers will be bored in seconds.

Have done line 8 hours straight...the start was slow like boring. Then i spend the 500k they gave and i surpised myself spending so much time... the gameplay and interface are way from matured but its look like promising...
Will love a sp or coop campaign

Took me near 60 turns to kill the ai for the first match.
So far have played 6 to 7 matchs my best was 11 turn (customs stalkers an threesomes)

I did Founders for Tactics. NDAs and all, so I'll stick to saying the best thing about the game that I actually CAN say, which is that I really appreciate them giving me my money back.

No, because MechWarrior Tactics isn't a MechWarrior game.

Its a table top battletech game carrying the wrong franchise name.

Not saying thats its a bad game, but I'm a mechwarrior player, not a battletech player.

I don't like the art but I'm a BT fan and I've played it. The game is fun, I don't get to play the tabletop much anymore and megamech didn't really do it for me. I like a lot of what they have done with the game but it is still very much in beta and is quite buggy.

Everyone gets it for testing purposes, like we got the MC in beta.

I like it. I opened some packs and got 3 4SPs. Then I got a X1 hunchi. So I run a hunch lance. Battles are pretty quick when I alpha focus fire. It still needs time but it's in the right direction. Still wish they would say the commando is a dervish still bothers me.

wrong... the clix game was called mechwarrior,and tactics is very close to that, except that it uses the basic BT rules... NDA or not, but that´s very clear from the few videos they made so far

I have to admit this is the first I have heard of it. I have just had a quick look at the homepage and it looks interesting; if there is an option to join the Beta for free I may give it a go during the half term break.

You who I wish would make a Battletech game? Firaxis. Between X-COM and Civilization 5 I think they have hexagonal turn-based strategy nailed down, and both those games look really good art-wise to boot.

It would be awesome to have a BattleTech/MechWarrior turn based game instead of a webpage. (Which isn't clear from the pictures or videos but is in the fine print. MWT isn't a game. It's a webpage.)
