And there sure are a lot of them. Despite my love for the Griffin and Centurion, I have to vote for the backbone of the Davion military, the Enforcer. The Enforcer must be in this game :)

Out of those I'd go for the Clint, Hunchback is a close second

The Clint just has a good mixture of speed, mobility and firepower for a low-tech 40 ton mech.

Centurion is a great trooper during the SW, my second would be the Dervish flowed by the Hunchback.

AC10 and Large Laser is a briliant combo. Plus if this has DC vs. FS action then there has to be Enforcers, right? :)

I've always been fond of the Shadow Hawk. It's not as great as some others, but it's a solid trooper and does a fine job.

Voted Centurion, great blend of heavy firepower and armor, even if it's a tad slow. I'd have picked the Crab, first, (even if it was the CRB-20 version) if we had it.

Voted Centurion, with honorable mentions going to the Enforcer and the Phoenix Hawk.

I think I'll make a Star League 'Mech poll once I'm through the 3025's. Mmmmm... Exterminator.

Always loved the dervish, it was a great mech and a devestating addition if some poor fool allowed infernos...

For me it was a contest between the Whitworth and the Hunchback. I'd like to say that my choice of the Hunchback had more to do with its use as a AC/20-bearing infighter than with the recently-released concept art, but I'm not sure if that's true. :)

Man, this is pretty hard. Clint, Centurion, and Griffin all make my short list, but I think the Clint wins the day for it's maneuverability combined with speed and decent weaponry.

Voted for waiting for my lovely Timber Wolf in the Clan Invasion, since the poll is not including my favorite era specific IS 'Mech, the Dragon....Acourse, naturally I make myself look like an ***** and completely miss the "Medium" in "Medium Mechs", but retain enough self respect to not edit the post out.. xD
That said, Hunchback all the way!

Personally, its either the Centurion or the Blackjack. I've got a soft spot for an all energy weapon mech so as long as I can choose the BJ-1DB I'll put my vote in for the Blackjack.

Whitworth or Enforcer for me. Both have great firepower and thick armor, though the Whitworth has the advantage of jump jets which is why I voted for it.

Sir, I applaud your ability to bring enjoyment to my day, as I did get a nice little chuckle out of this. My thanks.

Back on topic, Enforcer all the way. Not exactly quick, but can take a beating and give one right back. Dervish is easily #2, they're just nasty, anyone remember the Whirling Dervishes? Honorable mention to the Centurion, another all-around great design.

Hunchback FTW, unless I can actually use Hatchetman's hatchet...

A lot of good workhorse mechs in this group. Most are similar, so hard to pick unless you go for looks or the House that uses them.

Assassin and Vulcan can be pretty badass with a few minor mods, if a bit squishy.

Witworth and Blackjack are underrated.

Trebuchet is ugly, also underated, yet a very dangerous mech.

Hunchback, Scorpion and Woverine are gorgeous mechs, but each flawed in their own ways. The Wolverine, however, is very solid if you use the M version with the Large Laser. It doesn't come into it's own though till a bit later with the 7K model and it's LBX-10 and twin SRM-6s.

The Vindicator is probably, pound for pound the best mech here, but can't take the punishment that the heavier mechs can with similar weapons.

The Griffen is easily the most powerfull mech here and should win in 1 on 1's with the rest.

But I have a soft spot for the Shadow Hawk. It is part of my Unit's logo after all. Well rounded and pretty. Give it Inferno's for it's SRM-2 and it can hold it's own against heavier mechs.

Centurion.

I'd vote for the Hunchback as well, but it tends to look really goofy with the cockpit armored with car radiators.

My favorites happen to be the Trebuchet for the long range hitting power and close range support of med lasers and the Black Jack. I just think that one looks cool.
