I have a few favourites from this era, but I just voted for the Mad Cat. Cliched, I know, but hey, I love the 'Mech. The others that I'd have voted for would have been the Blackhawk, the Shadowcat (it's in MW3, which is Invasion era, but not in the voting list though...), the Daishi, and the Cauldron Born.

I'll drive the Loki for 2 years, then trade it in for the Shadow Cat or possibly Shadow Cat-A. Going by the TRO 3050 date given.

The Shadow Cat already existed before the invasion, it was only first seen by Comstar on Tukkayyid. One might have shown up before that battle, but nobody lived to tell the tale...

Hellbringer does come for a close second, mostly due to the most effective way to use it being pretty much Clan combat doctrine embodied in 'Mech form. All or nothing, ***** to the wall, you kill your opponenet or go out in a blaze of PPCs and lasers attitude.

It's so hard making only one choice! One of the things I loved about Clan Canon was that no clan mechwarrior was restricted to a single 'mech. They often changed machines dependant on the mission, being trained in all weight classes. I wonder if this will be honoured in MWO so as to reflect that level of training?

Even despite my opinion of Smoke Jaguars, I choose Caultron Born - really love this mech since first meet in MW3. Second - Nova (and Superova which not even mentioned :~(
