Yes, I admit we're terrible players on average. Its a terrible burden to be so above average in a group filled with terribad players. Truly.

This.

They're not skilled players.

They're chronically obnoxious players.

Obnoxious in the same vein as any particular vermin, such as termites or roaches.

Oh Mal. I thought we were past this.

Goons are not unbeatable, just more organized than the average pug group. Being on TS in a group is one thing, but consistently grouping with the same people makes that group's communication many times more effective. Not to mention, swarms of lights are still very powerful in this incarnation of MWO.

This guy is right. Communication is key.

This game totally needs a killcam for the final kill, like COD. That's what's all the rage these days. Let's shelve MWO as it is and recode it as a COD mech shooter. Who's with me?

Seeing as you Goonies have a bad case of keyboard diarrhea, you should use your communal tumor critical mass to buy some Imodium in bulk. See your doctors first though!

Your softer side is readily apparent on your various frequented sites where you feel you have an insular community, and you're all just like everyone else on every other message board.

The only difference being that the lot of you are self-absorbed enough to believe anyone else actually gives a ****.

Mr. Em-Space-Eh-Space-Ell-Space-Eye-Space-See-Space-Ee:

This is an interesting way to put things, considering the following:
  • We have an entire subforum dedicated to our glorious home world
  • We have more threads discussing we here at the Word of Lowtax than any other group, and the vast majority of them started by non-Word of Lowtax members.

We here at the Word of Lowtax would suggest that contrary to your excellently stated, erudite position, other people, actually do in fact give a "star-star-star-star," as you so eloquently put it about the Word of Lowtax.

We here at The Word of Lowtax thank you for your visit to Kaetetôã. We here at the Word of Lowtax realize that you have limited entertainment destinations and appreciate that you're spending your entertainment electrons on us. Please continue to choose the Word of Lowtax in your future holiday destination spending! We are grateful for your out of the box, blue-sky thinking, and appreciate you touching base with us here at the Word of Lowtax. We hope to synergize our efforts to achieve quantifiable paradigm redefinitions in a future collaboration soon.

Robotically Yours,
Anders

Most people beat goons without trying, it's not about l2p. It's about goons being an entire unit of bads and griefers.
This is supported by the fact that I haven't won a match in weeks.

It's true. Mint is on a horrible dry spell right now. We've been trying to get him to shoot at wounded Metal Babbies just to get him to kill something.

It seemed, for a short stretch there, that this community might be a bit more mature than many other FPS and competitive PVP games, but the past month has certainly changed my opinion. Not that everyone is rude, premade or PUG, but enough are, with more all the time, that it really leaves a bad impression.

Like any other game that involves combat, it attracts those basement kids who get beat up at school in daytime and turn into mad little griefers themselves after school. Its the interwebs indeed.

I think PGI should simply provide a togle for global chat, so us adults can turn it off when the kindergarten invasion begins.

Considering you are the "public relations officer" you must not be very good at your job. Outside of goons, and a few random people, your unit has an abhorrent reputation. Usually when most people agree that, as a group, you guys are pretty much disgusting people..... Perhaps you should rethink how you act in and out of game?

I dunno UO, are you this pleasant in person? If so, how is prison treating you? Have they moved you to the mental ward yet for biting the other inmates?
