Posting pointless threads should be treated like gold selling in WoW.

So let me get this right you have something against a group of peopl that want more people to play with and work as a team so you do not get pugstomped anymore?

The politest way I can put this is; Are you a daft tool that has no idea of the world around you and live such a sheltered life that you have to choose the most mundane of things to gripe over, showing people that you are just one giant whiny cry baby that needs a life outside of the internet.

You can't be serious.

The OP plays probably twice the number of competitive premade 8v8 matches than you have posts.

I dont even know what king troll is talking about with this thread since i've never played wow.

but considering the source, it's probably a stupid idea and belongs nowhere in this game.

Would you like some screenshots? It all looks a whole lot like gold selling in every other game out there, and it's not allowed there, so why is it here?

85% of the chat in this game is promotion/recruitment. Most players don't want to see it in all chat at the beginning or end of a match.

Either give them a place to do this specific thing (in-game, not just in the forums), or put an end to it.

Plays can opt in or out of joining a chat that has "clan/team/merc-corp/whatever" recruitment. They can't opt out of reading all-chat.

I won't even get into the perception of pubstomping or how it makes the less mentally-prepared random-draft 8-player team feel knowing that they're going up against a group of people who are, at the very least, in the same clan/team/et. al.

Tthe bottom line is if you're doing recruitment in game, it shouldn't be in all-chat.

None quite as unnecessary as this one.

This is only a problem because the team that advertises themselves usually goes on to curbstomp the puggers that they're trying to recruit. When you're pugging and the other team advertises themselves, you think "well ****, I might as well just quit the match. Chances are, this is going to be a steamroll".

It's just not a good image.

because what are they selling? The ingame chat is the only way people have to communicate with other players in the game. This game is designed around teams, teamwork, and units/houses/and clans (eventually). and you're crying about people doing the very thing this game is being designed around?

like i said, stupid idea that belongs nowhere in this game AND isnt even comparable to your analogy of gold farming.

What is it bothering you? Is it to much that it stays on the screen for 10 seconds and it hurts your eyes? Can the little baby not handle some competition?

They are not selling anything, and it is no worse then trade chat spam of X guild recruiting which was not against the rules in WoW unless it was constant spam.

So like many others your analogy fails as you took gold for real life money to general recruitment, when general recruitment was allowed in the game you used as an example.

Get a life or play the game like a big boy not some whiny four year old. Oops my four year old whines less then you do so does my three year old.

But its a team based game, they have to find people someway, good puggers get recruited.

I am unsure of how many times this needs to be repeated, but this is, without a shadow of a doubt, a team based game. If a team advertises who they are, and then proceeds to decimate the randoms, one would think that those players who queued solo would come to the realization that they should, in fact, join a team. Whether it be a MercGroup, a guild/clan/regiment, or just jump on TS. It's just not even difficult.

Actually it is pretty apt. The game starts, the other team says something like "JOIN CLAN GOLDEN CRISPS @ WWW.ONLINE.COM" and then proceeds to ruin the game for most pub's. Mainly because it is often a 4-man or an 8-man they are playing against and most of the time they are running the cheesiest builds they can imagine; thus sucking the fun out of the game and causing people to quit.
