The patch basics:

• Server downtime should begin Tuesday around 10 am PST (1pm EST, 6 pm GMT)
  
• Server downtime typically lasts about 2-3 hours. Forums will be down/unstable [/during this downtime. You may not be able to login.
  
• Patch deployment comes after the downtime (approx 1pm PST, 4 pm EST, 9pm GMT)
  
• Patch notes are typically not delivered until the patch deployment phase.

Alpine Peaks (seen above behind the Pretty Baby) and the Trebuchet are going to be fantastic new content, and we all love new content, but a big issue with this patch is the somewhat-contentious new matchmaker. It's always such a tough choice for me because LOCATION of hardpoints is so key and we don't know that yet... I know we can make educated guesses but it's always nice when that info makes its way into Ohm's reference sheets

Nice post.

The 5N does not have Jump Jets. The 5J trades one of the 5N's LRM15s for Jump Jets. (Plus some other stuff like heat sinks and armor).

EDIT: Added the other things is gets for dropping the LRM

Yeah it's nothing new, it's just stuff from the command chair (and one thing from a dev's Twitter account!) put in one spot.
