Here I sit, searching for match.

Just to fail, most times in a batch!

And when I get in, just wanting fun fights,

all is still one sided, it still just ain't right!

(failed 5 times in a row making up this stupid rhyme!) Grrrrrrrr

5 matches in an hour, guesstimate 25-40% time spent waiting.

8man premades dropping against pugs without synchdropping is great way to promote the game to random players.

Quick bit of info. Same issues as most when queuing solo, lots of failed to find matches. Then I grouped with a friend for a few games, and the matchmaker goes through almost instantly, really good games as well. Now I'm back to solo, and back to queues.

Hopefully it's just a bug with the queue as the actual games are awesome!

TL;DR, try grouping up with someone else and dropping, might help.

Edit: In fact, if anyone fancies testing if that was a fluke, feel free to grab me in game and try some drops :)

So feedback is expected then right? Waiting for 2-3 minutes at a time is annoying. I KNOW what beta is... This was a fail. It should be removed until improved or people will stop playing.

Well this is the first time i've ever posted, so you know i am pissed. Played for over a hour in random heavy/assaults. then i tried playing a light. 15 failed to find matches later, a client restart and still no matches. Please for the love of something, fix this. I like the idea of fair balanced play, but WTF is the point if we can't play?

Most I had was 1 failed searching, overall I find games pretty fast.
Lost a lot of games when droppign with 4 man, so its an improvement for PUGs for sure. Actually, when dropping solo I have won most of my games in contrast to 4 man.

Very dissapointed.
How many times by how many players was it expressed that mech balance by weight or class was far more important to a balanced game than an over complex, arbitary and suspect pilot skill method of matching.
Four and eight man teams were introduced as an 'interum' measure in MM phase 1 and 'should' now be irrelevant, yet these restrictions remain.
Not affected personally but breaking any ability for league teams to drop against each other ... seems unnecessary, and I can imagine the dire threats, I can't blame them.
None of it is an improvement.

I hope everybody is aware that the matchmaking needs some games to be useful. The elo-number must approach ur skills.
Relaxe and give it a try by just 10 games with some meds or lights. Then try to come into with ur heavy or assault.

Its not more important and not suspect at all. Before the patch with the old matchmaking I won about 75% of games, now about 50%.
Clearly a sign that its more balanced NOW.

We DID win somehow, but matchmaking seems a bit off... we had two lights, they didn't.
But they got an extra assault instead ?!?

So this new MM doesn't "give" equal amounts of different tonnage classes for both sides? Was surprised to find out that our team of four assaults, three heavies and one Raven encountered five mediums with three lights.

Especially nasty when fighting in conquest mode. And of course the map was the new Alpine one and enemy easily capped our bases before we even managed to move to second point.

10+ tries, only 1 successful match. Hopefully this gets fixed soon, but in the meantime, on to my backlog of other games.

45 mins searching to get 2 matches with 6 tries before the first.
Cicada with game mode to any.
The two games I have managed were pretty balanced in results - no crushing defeat or victory.

But I like MWO because I can always get a game. even if I anly have 20 mins spare I can has some stompy giant robot fun.
No longer.
Just wanna see alpine!
