Crashing now more often than not (it seems). Crashing for me involves freezing video with looping audio. I've frozen in the pre-game menu (showing rosters for both teams), in game (playing), in game (watching after dying), and in the post game score summary. In other words, I've frozen / locked up in every aspect of the game, multiple maps and multiple mechs.

Where in the game or menus did the crash occur?
Anytime during a drop, earliest has been about 15 seconds in.
What steps had been taken prior to the crash occurring?
None. Did nothing in mechlab, no option changes. Launch client, invited to group, drop, crash.
Does the crash re-occur for you if repeating those same steps?
Yes, although it occurs when I least expect it. In a session of three games, it WILL crash.
What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
1920x1080, full screen, vsync on, motion blur off, med, antialiasing off.
What are your System specs?

e6750 (2.66 GHz @ 3.2 GHz)
Nvidia (EVGA) GTS 450 (run at stock 822 and o/c 945); WHQL 310.90 drivers (tried the smokin new driver, too)
Windows 7 64-bit
6GB Ram

This constant crashing is a disappointment to me; more so with my clan--they seem to largely be free of this issue.

I began playing this beta in about September; I do not recall such issues then.

Thankfully, because of these forums, I suspect it's not me or my system.

I've getting lost connection after lost connection really annoying when you try to take part in the online events like tournaments... This patch seems to have destroyed the game stability we had in the last patch.

edit: 4 disconnects in seven games so far this morning.... I'm not seeing a problem in my download speeds and its acroos all maps (all of which I've played on since the patch).

Turning Vsync on has greatly dimished my issues, but I'm still crashing with CryAnimation: Command Buffer Overflow every 6 games or so, as frequently as three games in a row.

No Error Message
When another player on my IP address (same internal network) disconnects from a game (for example if dead), I am disconnected as well. I suspect that you're disconnecting the connection by IP address, not player ID :D.
This is a repeatable bug - although it took us some time to realise what was causing it.
Max settings, same as always.
Quad-core 3Ghz, W7 x64.

I'm still getting screen freezes. Locking the FPS down to 60 seemed to help for a few days but now I'm back to 5 screen freezes in 6 games. Always about 2 mins into a game and task manager is needed to exit the application.

Those of you playing fullscreen, if you switch to full window you should actually see a crash dialog.

Game window becomes unresponsive more often since the Feb 19th patch.
I play in fullscreen mode, @ 1920*1080, 60hz, with a GeForce GTX460 card. No settings have been changed since the patch and a new driver didn't resolve the issue.
Edit: System specs: Windows 7 Pro, SP1, latest updates, 8GB RAM, i5 quadcore @ 3,3ghz

Not reproducable, it happens at random times in game, sometimes during combat and lots of action, sometimes during capping and no effects at all.

Description: Game becomes unresponsive, needs to be closed and windows dialogue pops up, no error message.

It's usually not often, but today I had it in 2 of 6 games so far.

Experienced many freezings with Cataphract with balistic weapons and none with Stalker with PPCs. Sometimes aven immediately and before any weapons fire.

Different model? Different textures? Different camo? Different weapons?

Another 2.5 hours of pretty much continuous play this afternoon, no crashes.

Same for me, but I'm playing in a 'Full window'. Crashes started after last patch. Most of the time at start of the map, but sometimes just in combat. Installed fresh NV driver, but crash still happening.

Freeze happening more frequently it seems with each passing day, but had NONE before Feb 5 patches. I used ot get occasional Yellow screen, but that's gone... now replaced with the random freezing.

However given that last night it froze 3x in a 5-drop span and again so far today 2x in about 6 drops, I am noticing that freeze tends to occur when I'm in the procces of inputting multiple commands. IE - freezing exactly in time with me clicking FIRE on my mouse while I'm also steering etc. Granted 90% of match involves multiple inputs.... but I have noticed that when sending LRMS it seems more frequent. (I'm running a brawler Pretty Boy with some LRM's just for range, so not like I lob LRMs all match.) Of these last 5 freezes, 4 have been in conjunction with LRM launches, as I sit looking at a frozen screen of bracketed target mech far in the distance, trying to ALT+TAB to no avail before resorting to CTRL+ALT+DEL and task manager closing the MWO client.

Crashes seem to occur mid to late match.

Windows 7 SP1 - 64bit
16gb RAM
intel core i7-3570 3.4ghz
nVidia GTX 670 w/ 16mb - was running an older driver, then updated today to 314.07 and first match after install & reboot = FREEZE concurrent with LRM launch (again)
Almost becoming untenable to have to CTRL+ALT+DEL out of 1:6 or 1:7 drops.

Full-Screen Mode
1920 * 1080
Have not adjusted video settings from default

Constantly crashing when looking at my 2x LRM-15 volley exploding on a mech. Crash often after big LRM explosions and sometimes from 6x SRM-6 volley explosion.

Not exactly crash to desktop, even if that happens often, but freezing the game.

Have experienced about six hardlocks in two days of playing. That is more than I have had since starting the beta in July last year...

Seems a lot of other people having the same issue; our group always seems to be one man short as they keep having to reboot.

Every Time i use the Trebuchet - 5N and watch Explosions in Front of me, the screen frezze and i have to kill the programm.
That happens only by TRE-5N, 5M and 3C are working fine.



ATI 7970 with driver 13.1

Sometime the game screen just hangs. I have to alt-tab out of the game and when I come back in it's working again as normal.

My settings are about medium-high all up. Not running anything else besides GameBooster.

When running the game in window mode the freezes still happen but it does report:

CryAnimation: CommandBuffer overflow

7 crashes in 6 games so far today :lol:

Still getting the game Freezes that were introduced in the previous Patch. I can minimize them by turning Particles to Lowest setting, the game is not too pretty or flashy though.

No Crashdump, it's an instant Freeze-Up.

Seems worse now. Game Freeze about every second game after starting MWO program.
