I have a freeze about 1-2 times an evening which requires me to restart my win8 machine.

It nearly always happened on Alpine while some sorts of missiles hit an enemy mech in front of me.

I get a failed launch/disconnect/slow patcher appearance bug.

re-installing solved this once so far but its happened again. launching mechwarrior online seems to do nothing, then the patcher appears a bit late. launching from there brings up the mwo client but it fails to 'connect' and get my mechs etc, then disconnects.

its been working fine a week or so since I tried the re-install. any ideas?

Since wednesday, I'm having the same problem. Sometimes the patcher loads, sometimes it doesn't. Very rarely I can actually log in, but then it crashes as soon as the mechbay is loaded (Windows reports it as `Not responding'). For me, the problems started wednesday, and I think Windows had an automatic update shortly before it started, so I don't know if the mini-patch was the problem or the Windows update.

i7-3770k, 16GB RAM, Radeon HD5850, Windows 7 SP1

I've got quite a few crashes as of lately. Not quite sure I can attribute it directly to the last patch, but the number's gone up noticeably. The freezes occur mostly in the beggining of it - right at the first encounter.

i5-3570, 8GB RAM, GTX 560 Ti, Windows 7 SP1

I am consistently crashing in the middle of matches.


System:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
Intel® Core™ i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti (2 GB)

we just ran a round as a 4player group.. funny thing.. 2 players.. me and my teammate were in lights in the Frozen City.. we rushed to meet enemy.. we both locked on a Trebuchet, when we approached, we both crashed.. as in, it froze for a second and client just closed. we`re located in diff continents and literally have nothing in common besides the fact that we were in the team and primarried the same mech. is there any new exploits i`m not aware of or .. wtf?

hi,

my friend and I just had a synchronized client crush
we dropped as 4-man team to frozen city night, and 2 light mechs went over to the other side, and targeted a Trebuche designated 'A'
we both crushed at the same time, while the other 2 in our team kept on playing.

I am getting a CryEngine: Commandbuffer Overflow error every single time I drop on River City (not River City Night) for some reason as of today.

I am going to reinstall the map to see if that does anything.

Also, in my Omicron log this is what it says:

Fixed it for a while by enabling V-Sync. It appears to have found a way around that and now I'm being dropped consistently again. :)

The game has become an unplayable mess. Good job PGI. So glad you are aware of the issues and consider them 'fixed' because we reported, them.

They are NOT fixed. And can be recreated at will. The problem of course is who wants to play a game that crashes every other match?

No one you say? That would be about it.

Since the latest Win7 patch a bug has been noted where running TeamSpeak3 with Overlay Plugin + MWO will cause crashes for everyone using those two things. I personally have noticed that since the latest Win7 patch that I have started getting issues with Textures (Especially snow textures) either appearing incorrectly or not at all. This has created a crash for me so far. It doesn't happen every time, but the textures issue has come up multiple times in the past 24 hours.

8GB DDR3
GTX650 1gb

Just crashing randomly..

Game just freezed > ALT+TAB > Taskmanager > MWO=Not responding.
Happens pretty often, on all maps and situations...

I am still experiencing random crashes. The game freezes, no alt-tab is possible, only ctrl-alt-del gets me out of the frozen screen.
Afaik it happens in every map. It is happening far less frequently then in previous builds, previously it was about once every 3 games, now it's once every 10 games.

Crashed twice in a row the battle would start and the game would boot me out of the battle within 1 minute.

I'm stil getting the freeze screen but it has settled down to like 1 in 10 games now. It's worth a note to say that when playing in 4 - 8 mans it's not uncommon to have two people get a screen freeze at exactly the same time.

i have been crashing 1 in 4-6 games since the feb19th patch. i have even done a re-install but to no avail.

i hope it will be fix soon.

just re-installed again, this will be the 3rd time iv done it since the feb19th patch. crashing to desktop has been increasing since since the mini patches between feb19th and now 3/3/13.

i seem to CTD the most when i get frozen city or alpine.

Last 3 days I 've had the game freeze up on me alot. Computer was responsive and a Ctrl+alt+del closed the game. To make a long story short, I've uninstalled NOD32 Antivirus5 and updated into 6 version. Seems OK now. Hope this helps ppl.

Everytime I start TeamSpeak, MWO will crash. If I start MWO first its fine, then as soon as I attempt to start TeamSpeak it will crash. Gives a Not Responding message. If I start TeamSpeak first as soon as I hit the Play button on the Patcher the game will start to load and insta-crash; with the same message Not Responding. This just started today and was fine earlier this week.
