With this patch in each game so far either map textures or mech textures are not showing up. I this situations parts of the map or mech just show some basic colored textures. Very annyoning. Was in issue before but got much more pronounced now.

Make sure you are not forcing anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering in your graphics card controls.

Have both AA and AF set to application controled in drivers. MWO controls them. So it can't be that they are forced by driver.

AA also disabled in MWO settings.

Check through all the .pak files with 7-zip or your favorite compression utility (using the test file feature).

There's a shot that the textures.pak file got corrupted and you may have to redownload that file altogether.

See this thread about acquiring the replacement file(s):
http://mwomercs.com/...in-fread-error/

It would help to mention what video card you have and what you set the textures slider to in your game (set it to the lowest setting for now).

It's possible that you might have a lower end video card (and subsequently lower video memory available) which might be causing this.

This happens to me after patches. Just delete your shader folder (default is C:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\USER\Shaders) and restart the client. The game will recreate the folder automatically and everything should be fixed.

Always clear the shader folder after every patch (usually the major ones like this one). The game doesn't clear them for reasons I'm not aware of (they should be flushed IMO after video configuration changes in game, which you'd think they should have implemented this).

Didn't work for me, tried deleting the shaders, still got these buggy textures... not on every mech, but at least 50 % got messed up textures... think it is the cammo that doesnt show normaly...

Here's a picture form my problem with the textures...

I just saw, that there is information from my firefox-browser in the textures... i can read my favorites there ;-)

Is it possible that there are informations flowing in the game from the firefox-browser?

Bug is very annyoning. Almost in every match textures are missing.

Have checked .pak files with WinRAR, nothing corruptet.

I have an ATI 5850 1 GB VRAM with latest drivers.

Clanmate of mine has same problem accuring, but he hast GTX 680, so not very likely a vcard specific prob.

Deleting shaders folder doesn't really help. Sometimes its works, sometimes textures missing again. Although sometime game is recovering itself.

So no workable workaround for me.

Hm, I don't know then..

Try disabling AA from the game, it's the bottommost slider in the specific graphics settings in the game.

I continue to experience these bugs every 2-3 matches as well. Most noteable is the missing textures on the frozen city night/day map.

Missing Textures on Frozen City are reproduceable:
- run a night/day for first time -> fine
- run a different version (night/day) then before -> fine
- run the first version again -> missing textures!

seems like the shader try to use textures from the other version (maybe same name?)... missing them in the loaded map-cache?
