i don't see why mediums should be disadvantaged by having the same height as assaults. when light mechs are not disadvantaged by having the same hitbox size as heavy mechs like dragons.

Anyone got a screenshot of the treb being that tall? I didn't notice it being anywhere close to the size of an atlas when I was playing last night, but I may just have been paying attention to the relative sizes.

it seems about the same size as a centurion to me, but that means it still comes up to the Atlas' chin I think.

That's absolutely fine. That's how big it SHOULD be. The only anomaly here is how tiny Light Mechs are. That **** needs to change.

You can see clean over a Cents head in a trebuchet. In fact you can see over clean over a stalker. The cent is only a little bit wider as well.

tall as an Atlas, kick my atlas to the curb and hops in the Treb , jumpjets and twice as fast weee!. hadn't really noticed how tall a treb is because the first time I saw one to day he was to busy trying to blow my head off...

Also take a side shot and notice how much thinner the Treb is. He's tall and lanky. It all works out.

If you paint it white it will redraw the maps, lord it over all the other mechs, and eventually collapse while leaving it to younger mechs to sort out. Kind of like Europe :-0

Anyone have a shot from inside the cockpit? Possible the 1st person model differs in height from the 3rd person model, if you can really see over a Cent. Or he was on a hill.

Can you explain why it can see clean over a stalker from the cockpit view? Definitely feels much taller than that picture when you are piloting it.

The in cockpit view is higher than it should be.

if you look at an other trebuchet from inside one you actually see over his head.
