Large Laser to Legs 1/4 = on 2d6 2-3 Got a 5
Medium laser to legs 2/4 = on 2d6 2-6 Got a 4 result roll 1d6 1, 2 = critical on knee 3, 4 = no critical 5, 6 = ankle freeze up (got a 6 which really sucked cause I wanted the leg to get sawed off :-( )
So then used blade to arms 1/2, both times successful. Didn't roll for the head, because well, knowing my luck, I would have missed the first two times, and that would have been embarrassing.

The birder. Using TOG against himself is hilarious. Sorry Pat
Guessing Shep's the furthest out from the hostiles now, TOG being on the contact side of the trees from the tanks.
I'll wheel him around and close, he'll probably show up too late to be useful though. We'll see.
To confirm ranges, how far away from the barn is the birder?

guardian, I'm not too pleased with how you single handedly obliterated that Commando, and then are using the carcass for cover from the tanks.

hey Shep... see that bird? NO?! Well, it's there... go catch it for me while we fight... oh, I forgot... Shepherds are better chasing wabbits...
minimum 400 meters, and more likely 550 to 600.

just make the hitting the cockpit act like the srm trigger is held down and he has to wait 2 salvos before he notices what he is being shot by.

I edited it to try and make that absolutely clear, sorry for any mix up. Also I noticed wolf up there posting rolls. Are we supposed to be rolling for our attacks or is he just doing extra credit?

I cannot tell you how many times I've seen someone discover the joys of hatchets and triple strength myomer, only to end up as a pair of dismembered legs at the bottom of a shallow crater.

I modified my post.
guardian, next time, don't kill things in one post, that crap annoys me no end, and skirts close to the no godmode rule.

Janitor, a clarificaiton question. Whenever I've done any posts by posts, I've always observed the rule that you fire your weapons at the NPCs and the GM decides whether they hit and what they do, just like a tabletop RPG. Guessing though given everyone's posts, you're ok with us effecting our weapons on target? To that effect, with the tanks, are we allowed to extrapolate how many hits each target has taken and whether we got to claim the killshot?
Just wanted to get the rules of engagement out in the open.

The downside is if we get into serious multi-target battles (as in an urban environment), we could easily post just three lines and then wait until the next day... rinse and repeat multiple times. Might make the flow choppier since we are all around the world.
and Shepherd, I figured you were in that mode, TOG was going to be also, but the scout in him still worries that where there is one 'Mech, there are often 3 more and TOG already feels responsible for the failure to spot the trap and avoid it. Since you are on the way and TOG is fast enough to get back out and around, he chose to let you have the glory while he gets to stretch his legs... er... 'Goose's legs... um... nevermind.
