I'm not dead!!! I swear, look, I'm working!

Search field is now implemented, you can search your garage and all chassis by:
  • Name
  • Quirks
  • Tonnage
  • Faction

Bug: Ballistic Cooldown (including that gained from Fast Fire) is affecting Machine Gun fire rate (it shouldn't, as MGs have no cooldown), but actual Machine Gun Rate of Fire quirks are not.

Bug: Ballistic Velocity quirks are not modifying projectile speed on weapon tool tips, even with "Tool tips with quirks" checked.

@Rydiak, thank you for reporting the bugs.

In the future could you please register on GitHub and report the bugs to the issue (bug) tracker? This saves me some time that I can use fixing the bugs instead of bookkeeping them. :)

Please see here: https://github.com/E...eporting-Issues

Hi Li Song, I sent a message earlier but figured I would reach out to you here as well. The majority of heat information that has been reported before has been slightly incorrect and there are a lot of small things I've done a bunch of tests for that could really help out with the accuracy in your program I think. My regular guide is here:
http://steamcommunit...s/?id=686548357

But I would like to send the huge excel sheets I've accumulated via testing and will happily discuss if you want. Please just let me know.

I would like to thank smoky for the effort to establish the true heat values and formulas. There will be a new version of lsml soon with the new values which promises to be the most accurate version ever.

LSML 2.0.0 Lush Looks - Release Candidate 2

This is the second release candidate for 2.0. All features that will make it to 2.0 are done, some have been postponed for 2.1. There are no known bugs at the time of the release, but wider testing is needed.

Changes since 2.0 RC1
* Heat capacity calculations have been changed based on results after extensive testing. Now uses 2.0 and 1.1 for engine heat sink capacity values. Also includes environment and throttle effects on heat capacity. Heat containment now only applies to the base 30 capacity as confirmed by testing.
* Fixes menu text for redo/undo in the 'Mechlab window.
* Default upgrades and efficiencies were not applied when creating a new 'Mech from the search field.
* Swapped place of undo and redo buttons in garage to be more natural.
* Weapon module cool downs are now correctly calculated.
* Added tool tips on pilot modules.
* Garage folders are now sorted alphabetically.
* Using the delete key while editing folder or loadout names in the garage window no longer asks if you want to delete the loadout or folder.
* Text fields are now behaving a bit better. Escape cancels edit and de-selects. Enter commits and de-selects.
* The update notification dialogue now contains "Download" and "Remind me later" buttons instead of a text link which cannot be copied.

Changes since 1.7
* Complete UI revamp
* New search features, search by tonnage, quirks, name, faction just by typing.
* Batch import/export of 'Mechs.
* Custom folders in the garage.
* Smart 'Mech selection based on desired hard points, ECM, jump jets, minimum speed and more.
* Default settings for armour amount/ratio, efficiencies and upgrades.
* Shortcuts to fill the 'Mech with as many of a given item as possible.

Due to a snafu you will have to uninstall and re-download RC2 if you installed it prior to 22 CET on June 28th.

I would like to give a big thank you to smokytehbear for generously supporting the development of LSML through the Patreon campaign (https://www.patreon.com/LSML).

I'm now one step closer to being able to take one day a month off to focus entirely on working on LSML.

do the DPS calculations take quirks and double taps into consideration?

i recall a link to some lab work done for the average UAC jam chance DPS if you don't have the numbers already.

LSML should display tooltips on all stats of interest. If a tooltip isn't showing or doesn't provide enough information, please open an issue on github (https://github.com/EmilyBjoerk/lsml) so that I can fix it.

All DPS calculations include quirks, UAC double-tap (with jam%) and loss due to spread (SRM/LBX/MG), pilot modules and skills/efficiencies.

Uh ... I cannot launch the application, I just installed Java Runtime Environment 1.8_101 and when I try to launch the program I get a pop-up telling me it needs Java Runtime Environment 1.8_77 ...

That's wierd ...

@Lorcryst Nysell

Thank you for reporting this issue, in the future I would be much obliged if you could report issues on github (https://github.com/EmilyBjoerk/lsml) this saves me some work which I can instead put towards actually fixing the bugs.

That's odd, that check is done by launch4j which creates the launcher exe. I suspect a bug in the program that created the launcher... I'll check their source and try to figure something out.

For now you can work around this by starting the .jar file directly. (just go to c:\program files\Li-Soft\LSML or wherever you installed it and double click lsml.jar).

Thank you for your quick answer, I will try to understand how github works to post eventual further problems on there.

And thank you for the quick-and-dirty workaround ... great program, I was an avid user of EFT back in my eVe days, this one brings me back in time AND works like a charm Posted Image

There are somewhat rudimentary-ish instructions here: https://github.com/E...eporting-Issues :)

And you're welcome :)

And now to do a PSA to others who might be affected.

If you are encountering "Minimum required Java Runtime version" error but you have Java update 100 or larger, please launch the .jar file directly from your LSML installation directory. This is a bug in a 3rd party library that LSML is using.
