Here are my rough findings. My Front and Side sketches have room to be improved on, especially because I believe the center torso has a spot or two on the side torso. It seems to have some small strips across the sides I had trouble locating.

The front side torsos were troublesome as well. I need an additional test to confirm their locations.

The Legs made sense and are fine, but the upper arms are jacked up to say the least. The head is so tiny I almost couldn't find it. It's actually the space inside my outline.

The worst is the back, so I tried to use the most detail there.

Color Key:
Green = Front CT (Shamefully large areas of this mech)
Blue = Side torso (These usually made sense in regards to front and rear)
Yellow = Head (Tiny beyond recognition)
Orange = Rear CT (A couple patches on the back)
Red = Legs (As they should be)
Purple = Arms (Upper arms are front CT)

A big thanks to PauloBR for taking his premium time up with me.

If anyone has premium time and a hellbringer, I can sharpen these up a bit. Otherwise, I hope these get us started figuring out this mess.

Would you like to Tweet these to Russ, or want me to do that?

He might be interested in seeing them.

Well thanks for you help.

Well I do see a few problems but no where near as bad as I was expecting. Looks like unless there is a major bug with the armor values we are just stuck with a very fragile Hellbringer. Guess the issue is in the chest protrusion which just soaks damage no matter how you twist. Only remedy would be to incorporate the sides of the protrusion into the side torso which looks like it would fix the problem but somehow I don't think PGI will do that <sigh>.

Another question. Did you happen to test for armor values. For example, see if there is actually 70 armor on the CT. If not PM me and I will bring my Hellbringer in for testing with you.

Those are some ******* borked hitboxes. Its like a jigsaw puzzle gone wrong. Though if they do fix all those hitboxes, the Sidetorso are going to get bigger and since it has no weapons in the CT for any chassis, it loses a lot of weapons when it loses one.

It's the back that is jacked beyond belief. Fully HALF the back is the Front Center Torso. I wondered why showing my back wasn't spreading damage.

Also, I reiterate, I believe my front side torsos aren't 100% correct. I think there are some areas, just like the jigsaw back, that are actually center torso.

You can hit the center torso from any side of the mech. It's sort of hilarious.

At the moment you can safely remove most of your rear CT armor, leaving it around 3 points, and be better off.

If you're on, I am too.

I was in the middle of making this when I paused to flip through some pages and saw yours. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw how borked this thing is.

Try using machine guns to pinpoint the hit boxes, gives you less damage and more time to experiment.
I dropped a few times in my HBR-B and always was CT damaged...

The cone of fire tends to hit multiple components unfortunately. I spray the area until I notice an abnormality, then get precision results with a small laser.

Well, good update on tweeter that a patch on monday is coming with tweeks to the hitboxes.
Can anyone suggest to Russ to add a amendment to the QA to get in a private game and spray the mech and see the hitbox responses ... or replace the current QA if they thought that this was a good idea.

Wow thats a ton of front-CT on the rear. Something went seriously wrong there, no wonder everything registers CT and they get wrecked so fast.

Thanks for doing the work and sharing the results.

Updated boxes thanks to Koniving.
Another shout out to PauloBR for his help too.

Main changes: Strip on the front left torso is actually CT, not ST. Significant area undernearth the arms is actually CT. I'd say it's 50/50 with the side torso, with most of the area under the arms being CT. The best comparison I can make to the bottom is that this mech is wearing a pair of underwear that is a fairly large front CT hitbox.

A small section of additional front CT hitbox was discovered on both the upper side torsos.

The rear CT is a little bigger than thought at first, but still messed up. The head is very tiny. Smaller than my illustration. The dot in the middle is the actual head location.

Yeah it is making a whole hell of alot more sense now. Well if they actually get all this fixed, it is possible the Hellbringer might be half way decent after all. Here is crossing my fingers they correct all this.

You should post this image in its own thread with the title "Hellbringer Hit Boxs" so that it stands out for the Devs....or just send a support ticket I guess.

There is simply no way you can turn and not get hit in the CT. You can core it from all sides.
