I use a G700. It's alright. I had an MX Lazer 1000 before, but Logitech changed the software so I couldn't program the buttons for MWO. Can't really say I noticed a difference between them, performance-wise.

I use a classic G9 that is serving me since many years, after Logitech replaced under warranty a MX 518 for free with this G9.

I've used for some time a CM Storm Inferno, but somehow it got buggy, the right click behaved like being always clicked when it wasn't. Now I use the CM on the other PC and it doesn't do this anymore who knows.

Can't live without a couple of thumb buttons, this game would not be playable to manage all the necessary weapons groups without it :D

I got a G700, and while it does track really well for aiming the G10 button didn't make it through the first 2 hours of MWO.

The 4 buttons on the side for use with the thumb don't work for me, as when I try to push them I always go way off target. Maybe I could get better with practice.

The battery doesn't last long and alway fails at the worst time, so I keep it plugged in. The cable is stiff and....well I'm kinda biased about it due to a very poor experience with a big name online computer store. I had a $100 gift card but it still in the end cost me $3.75.

That's crazy that your 10 button died. Mine has been rock solid -that button is my infra-red toggle. The side buttons are great for missiles or lbx's. I also use them for chain-fired lasers as once you've pushed the button you can then more firmly grip the mouse to counter-act the shifting of the reticle.

I've heard the build quality of those things are rather shoddy. At least that is what I've seen of the reviews of them.

I use a Logitech G13 and an M570 wireless trackball.

I hate mice and as such have been using trackballs since the original rectangular Logitech came out.

But, what I want to know is if anyone is currently using a Razer Hydra.

You are a god among men if you manage to play this game with a trackball.

I use a Logitech ball mouse, which honestly is the best mouse I've ever used. I bought it thirteen years ago and it's still works perfectly. Since I don't move the mouse itself, only the trackball, it's far easier on my wrist, and is very accurate. I recommend them to anyone that is looking for a new mouse. The only downside is that it doesn't have a wheel, which some games assume you do, but it's a very minor gripe.

The one I own doesn't have the smaller buttons, and is white, but aside from that this is it. I've actually worn the Logitech logo off of bottom from using it for so long. It takes a little getting used to, but I hate having to use a normal mouse instead of this kind now.

I used to use a Logitech Wireless Trackman (ooops, wireless mouse again) way back in the days of the original Day of Defeat mod for Half-Life. People used to wonder how I managed to snipe so well with it.

What did it in was the left click button finally gave out after like 3 years. When I went to buy a replacement the only option out there that I liked was the exact same mouse. Turns out that trackball mice hadn't really changed in 3 years. It was a great mouse but being the gadget geek that I am I couldn't settle for getting the same mouse over again, so I switched back to a traditional mouse.

I haven't used a trackball in a loong time, and I definitely never used it for gaming. That's not to say it can't be good for it, but I've never personally tried it.

Logitech MX518 for years now (and it starts to wear out), since my MX510 died. Cant use the 5th button with my grib, but never could.

Being used to some sensitivity, I cant stand using a regular mouse for extended periods of time (office/library computer), it is so exhausting when you need to move your arm to get from one end of the screen to the other (or even lifting your mouse or so)

I use a mouse pad. The last time I tried going without a mouse pad you could look at the desk and certainly tell that I hadn't been using a mouse pad. Granted, I tend to buy very cheap but functional desks that likely don't have the most durable finishes.
