And still, if memory serves, that would not be early enough to know about the resets without some reading. So you read enough to find out about the resets but not enough to know that OB would be the last one? Sorry buddy, your fault, not PGI's. Stop blaming other people for your mistakes. I think it is pretty clear everyone else got the message.

That topic was just covered below. Your assumptions of correction before realizing the full explanation saddens me. Like a panda.

If I had actually paid for an "Open Beta" or a product as buggy as this I bought at a store, I would be furious.

Odds of me ever spending 1 cent on this buggy, beta game just got lower . . .

Good thing you didn't though the... and you can still play the game.

If I'd known what I know now back when I didn't know I'd still buy founders cos I want to support any MW game

There have been a lot of idiotic threads on these forums but this one sure ranks up there. Everyone and their mother knew about the MC resets in OB; it was clearly mentioned across numerous e-mails, forum posts and updates. Stop harassing PGI because YOU failed to do any sort of investigation in your investment.

You'd think by now some people would put a little thought in before they start a thread about garbage like this.

So, OP is mad, cause PGI gave ample notice to everyone, and he didn't bother or take the time to notice. Then goes off on a textbook case of passing the blame, cause he can't be at fault.

I'm pretty sure that the announcement for Open beta WAS in the launcher. Just because you didn't take the time to click on the rotating pictures that lead you to the announcement pages, does not mean that PGI is at fault for your negligence. If you notice, not a single other thread was started about PGI not giving notice that MC would not be reset after Open beta started, ya wonder why at all?

Yep, and it was his responsibility, as a closed beta tester, to read the CB forums regularly. It was all over there for months.

Good point, he BOUGHT into a CLOSED BETA and figured that playing casually and not reading anything should be the norm, and I wonder if he ever got ANY of the e-mails of checked his spam folder. I mean, sheesh.

I never received an email.

I spoke in assumption that it arrived for the sake of brevity when describing the timing they supplied while discussing the topic of their intent.

I see. Well if the email was what they pointed to we are at least at a point where this being a case of bad customer care becomes debatable again. I personally would still say there were enough other sources.

Did you spend ALL MCs on that November 2nd? Because they can track that and if so their data would match your claim of having spend the MCs in expectation of another wipe and reset.

Dont worry man, before Closed Beta started everyone on the forums was literally about to throw money at PGI.

After my purchase of the game, October 26th was the first notice they made of "Open Beta being the last reset". Otherwise, in that 2 week period it was not made obvious in the casual reading after purchase of the game. Otherwise, their October 26th notice said "about 18 days till Open Beta" and it was in fact 3 days.

Hence, I did not check the website/email for 3 days, I played the game, and it didn't make it obvious in the launcher or usage of MC in the interface.

Pretty simple situation. Rather absurd it's so difficult to understand.

Not obvious in the launcher?!?!? IT WAS THE ENTIRITY OF THE PAGE!

Timestamp Description Amount Balance November 2, 2012, 10:55 pm PurchaseMechWithMC -3,750 16,250 October 29, 2012, 1:24 pm Founders Package $80 MC 20,000 20,000

Yup. All MC was Nov 2 and they won't fix it. Hence, slightly annoyed with their intent more than the effect on me.

PGI scammed no one. They didn't steal or decieve anyone. They clearly posted when resets were taking place. It is not their fault if people are ignorant of the facts. If you feel as though you are truely being scammed, why not take PGI to small claims court and sue them for what money you think you are owed?

The launcher made no mention of MC/Resets being final. It just said "Open Beta"; the assumption being you read a bunch of junk before that on the website/emails.

Good idea. Credit Card fraud. I'll look into it.
