Outbound Light encountered the Clans in... 3048 though.. so the timing of it being clan related still seems off to me.

How long would it take a message out side of the HPG network to reach comstar HQ? Maybe a year or so?

Depends, I suppose.. I always figured ComStar had some portable HPG type gear.. similar to the 'fax' machines that NAIS invented allowing the FedCom to bypass the interdiction during the start of the 4th War.

They contain many of the same frames only flipped or rotated, as well as a few new ones. the lava smear on the top leftish of both, as well as the Orange gash 4 up from the bottom on the left of both. simple rotates. The is at least one part of a new mech in there as far as i can see. theres a hip actuator that doesn't belong to anything we have seen yet as far as i can tell.

Could you please try to tell me what thing is next to your lower yellow square? I looked at all concepts of mechs and I can't seem to find a fitting one, so I settled with it being Cyclops's head. What do you think?

Well, it may be a Highlander's head, too. ;)

Did anyone else notice the face on the Atlas in the background?

I zoomed in a bit so I could see it better, but it might be a little pixelated, but here it is:

Posted Image

Slightly creepier than the usual Atlas face, no?

I'd be doubtful that its a head, theres brown dirt below it. makes it more likely its terrain.

Has anybody thought of zooming OUT instead of IN? Little pictures making a larger one.

What about the chances of this being a video? In the end that is. What if what we see right now are just parts of/whole frames from the "transmission"?

This was my thought too. A photo mosaic of... something.

You're right. There are brightened sections on each mosaic that appear to be parts of a circle. We'll have more to piece together soon.

Also the white pics being old BT art.... Check out the one in the second pic. Flip it and the only mech that comes to mind is a warhammer. In the new Pic the White pics in the mIddle is clearly two mech standing next to each other but I can't match it to any old BT art

Well, if it is a Clan 'Mech, I expect the Timber Wolf/Mad Cat.

After all, that was the first Clan design to be seen by the Inner Sphere.

(Which is why you best hope if you end up a merc with the Kell Hounds you don't get sent pirate hunting...)

Ya except they wont allow players to be in canon units. Cool thought though.

Hey maybe it is an ingame mechlab where you can do repairs - probably the devs are laughing their heads of reading our wild asumptions.

Time for another picture. I'm more interested in the smaller images. It looks like two mechs as a design view from the front. Whats that missile podish thing on the top of the shoulder?? A reverse-ed Warhammer? It looks like another smaller mech standing next to it.
