Please let them know what you think. If you have somehow missed that they will be introducing consumables here is a short recap:

Consumables go in the module slots and weight nothing.
Purchase them using C-bills or MC. Top tier C-Bill version must be unlocked using GXP.

These are the planned consumables:

Heat reduction
Artillery Strikes
Air Strikes

I strongly doubt it, but I think this issue has been pretty definitively settled either way.

Seems like something for end-game players to spend their money on. I can't say that's a bad thing.

Consumables suffer the same problem that got repair bills removed, namely that there's no reason to run specific loadouts in specific situations when every game is random matchmaking. If consumables end up being the best modules there will be p2w riots and if they aren't then all they do is arbitrarily punish players that opt to use them over other options. Expenses on a per-match basis might make sense in the context of community warfare, but until then they contribute nothing beneficial.

The simple answer is no one knows. Since a stock Atlas can easily walk out of the blast radius in the time given, it could be very hard to use. The Cooling won't have much effect on most of the popular builds; even a one time boost for a 6PPC Stalker won't be really game changing (I don't think).

Can't say if it will hurt the game play any, but I can't see how it will help.

yea... get over it till they put it in game. Cause you know it doesnt take MONTHS AND MONTHS of complaining, QQ and endless threads for them to even ADMIT theres a fault with something they put into the game once it hits the servers.
See: ECM

Yes, theyve FINALLY decided to look into it but after HOW LONG of us telling them constantly that it was broken?

we'll see when it comes in game. i think the coolant consumables will be game changers cos that greatly benefits high heat builds like ppc stalkers. artillery and airstrikes will also be big game changers but in a good way which is to prevent camping and going into the same usual place in the map that gives u the best advantage possible.

You really think a one time heat reduction on a super hot running build will change the game? I think even if it completely removed ALL the heat once it still wouldn't be 'game changing'.

But I could be wrong. :D

I am not sure. Artillery and air strikes seem cool, not to sure about the coolant thing though.

Can't we wait and see before voting. I doubt the devs care at this point what we *think* will happen with consumables in the general term...they've made the decision to introduce them and see how they work.

After you knew it was broken. Not before it was ingame and no one was sure how it would impact the game. Just saying, it's an important distinction.

I said better because the idea of calling in an airstrike on lrm boats,I.E two thirds of the enemy team sitting on a ridgeline on forest gives me a chubby.
