Yes, we need more open space to ignore. I love when it takes 4 months before people spot 'little details' like the waterfall on forest colony, and the boat on frozen.
We all knew it - behind all that trolling and mech stomping, Vassago Rain is just a soft Romantic that stops to smell the roses!

depends are we using btech rules or MWO rules with what would be expected if we could include things like tanks?
because beating the clanners in current maps would be mega trivial.
**** loads of 60-100 tonne tanks featuring masses of SRMS.
things to keep in mind clanners feel non mech warriors are civilians ergo they would massively underestimate tanks. Most of the maps give huge amounts of cover and very low profile tanks would be almot impossible to hit as mechs dont twist up and down enough to bring most of their weaponry to bare against ground targets.

OP's obvious and complete cluelessness about size/scale in the inevitable result of women lying to men (and men lying to themselves) for centuries.

Put a company of these against a star of theirs, coordinate some focused fire, and watch those clammers drop like flies.

When against a superior force you need to overwhelm them with sheer numbers. So if a clan mech shows up you throw 10 commandos at him (or 3L's) and just whittle him down. Sure he will take out most of them, but if they focus fire you can get him down and still have some survivors.

there are no clan light mechs that would be able to beat a 3L. Clan mechs will never be able to field ECM. so their streaks wont work against the enemy 3Ls whilst the 3L swarm would jut smash you with their streak 2s

Well, the Hellbringer Prime comes default with ECM and SSRM6 (although it has pooptastic armor and it's a heavy). There are probably others that come with it as well but I don't feel like digging through Sarna.

Well that has to be a mistake, clan mechs by lore are literally 100% not allowed to field ECM units. it breaks Zelbreigan.
I suppose it's possible the variant exists as a FU to the IS for when they eventually declare the IS unworthy of clan war rules.
but otherwise ECM is a big nono
