I'm pretty sure you're either a deluisonal sycophant, bad or unfamiliar with this game, or both. Large pulse lasers do more damage already and have a shorter duration. They also do less damage per ton than medium lasers with a similar range profile but harsher hardpoint requirements and more heat per dps.

It needs a buff. You don't understand this game. No one uses Large pulses because they're terrible, and you're trying to math out a false scenario because you feel the need to be right. You're not right and you look foolish.

I've thought out every change on that list considerably. You apparently can't do basic math. We're done here.

Go away.

wow you burned that dude.

So what you are saying is that you've worked in software but never ever over-promised or underdeveloped. Ok, please tell me where this mythical coding shop is and I will apply. I'm ready to have managers who don't make unrealistic promises. I'm also interested in their ability to produce finished code for beta testing. I mean... Damn, PGI still doesn't have all the features they hope to implement and they're already in BETA. How could they be so foolish?

Am I the only one in the room who thinks the claims you're making here are absurd?

No, what I am saying is what I posted. Reread it if you need to, but avoid clumsy straw man paraphrasing please.

A crystal tower sounds pretty appropriate once one loses corporeal mass.

Dont mind Vassago, he just tries to insult people because he has no real logical argument.

Then go to those other games. Yes your expectations are unreasonable. You DEMAND more communication, and when they communicate, people flip out, or cry conspiracy, or any other of a number of foolish notions. Why should they communicate more? To catch MORE flak from grognards? They have EXCELLENT communication. Just because you desire more does not mean they need to. YOU ARE UNREASONABLE AND DEMANDING. why dont you take a break for a while and go back to your so called "Huge expectations" which I would imagine you are blowing out of proportion, as those huge expectations come from the large price they pay for your firms services. Since this is a f2p game, your price is minimal, and certainly no greater than the price I have paid. However, you feel you deserve MORE because youre special. Except your not. So enjoy the game or dont. stop crying about how you wish they would talk to you more. The used to do that, and then people acted like douches. So they stopped. Now they have people acting like douches because they DONT communicate as much. Cant please everyone, and when you are the minority who isnt please, you need to ask yourself, is it them, or you? I know which it is.

I'm not reading this until you break it up. Walls of text are not allowed.

And it's funny that you said I was the angry one.

You can know a man by the company he keeps. You're siding with the dedicated troll who I've never seen post on topic or for more than two sentences. What does that say about your quality?

I dont have an actual response to your well thought out and rational argument so Im just going to insult you and act like im cool.

And it's funny that you said I was the angry one.

Fixed that for you.
Im done with you. You refuse to use logic and instead attempt insults as though they were actual argument. Fail.

Garth's post to like ratio is destroying yours and I'm pretty sure he's a bigger troll than you are. I don't think that numbers all that relevant.

If that number is including QC then they either don't have a QC department or it's incredibly small.

Thanks. I can't really blame them for the speed then. I mean they are not a 100 or 300 man development team.

I would probably think like you did too if I hadn't seen the amazing things that the even smaller MWLL team did with a $0 production budget in the same amount of time while not having full access to the engine. Another example that disproves your post is Unknown Worlds Entertainment's team that had less than 10 people yet created Natural Selection 2.

MWLL was impressive for $0... but it was never even a stones throw from a AAA title, it never had a chance and even if they got the $5 mil, it still would not be what MWO is so far in many ways, yet it would be more than MWO in others.

Small groups do create impressive things, but they tend to need to cut corners, not always in delivery, but in depth of scope. Natural Selection 2 is impressive, as was torchlight and torchlight 2, but they gave up some things to deliver a smaller but still quality product. I am not simply referring to content, but I do not see anything out there aiming to eventually deliver as strongly as MWO in the Mech department for less money with a smaller team.

Hey man, I just asked you to use some common internet courtesy and add some paragraphs into the wall of text. I don't know what you posted because I don't read posts without some spacing in them.

You are the one insulting people in this thread. Go back and reread your posts.

Geez.

Well they could use the millions of dollars we've sent them to hire more people. Honestly though most of us wouldn't care about the speed that new content is released if we weren't misled regarding the dates (Community Warfare and DX11 were supposedly right around the corner when they were trying to get us all to buy founders) and lied to about the content that would be in the game (they explicitly stated that coolant flushes and 3rd person would not be considered).

Your mom is free to play.

Yeah I said it.

I deal with little sh*ts like you every day in customer service. Grow the f*ck up kid. You invested in a game that was undergoing development. It's like going into a store, buying a lottery ticket, and then attempting to return it because you didn't win. If you had invested money into a completed game your argument would be far more acceptable. For now you can only voice what you think is wrong, and hope they change it.

Being an immature **** to a person at PGI will sabotage your chances of getting what you want changed.

lol you are so angry.

It was an internet joke.

If I was so mad at Garth I would not have made a "Your mom" joke.

It's just like "That's what she said".

But really...Sabotage my chances...at what? Getting them to communicate better?

lol but man I am just glad I have your post quoted now.

I'd like to point out that the first Natural Selection was actually free and had about 3 full time team members, with about 15 other assorted core members who did what they could in their free time. Of course, we're comparing apples and oranges here. Everyone who worked on NS did it for the love of the game. Everyone who works on MWO gets paid.

They're small, they're inexperienced, and this is their list of games: http://en.wikipedia....Games_developed

People need to cut them some more slack. Sure, they're bad at communication a lot of the time, but it's not like they have tons of experience dealing with a rabid, whine-filled online community. They'll continue to improve slowly over time.

Also, I hope to see you on the field of battle, brother.
