An abomination? In the eyes of all its fans?
You tell me, PGI.

Stuff about their other crap
Don't care
Don't care
Don't care who these people are, at all
Still don't care
Get on with it
Some guy that worked on Freelancer works for them I guess that's cool
More of don't care
Don't care
More applause for a job you did that you got paid for, way to go on earning that living
More don't care
They can't believe that it's the future apparently
"Raise your hands if you like free-to-play!" and nobody raises their hands and they don't pan the audience but he acts like people did anyway.
(4:33) Crap about tribes being F2P
(6:44) I skipped to here, they are still trying to defend F2P
(9:20) MORE F2P
God I can't take it, someone else is ganna have to post the MWO relevant stuff.

$70k is reasonable, but that $250k is surely from the time it took to make Tourmaline Desert that makes it so large. Usual map done in a normal time certainly doesn't cost that much.

It is a F2P panel... what did you expect?
I guess I didn't know that... I was just interested in what they had to say about MWO.
Watching 45 minutes or something of developers trying to justify one of the worst things to ever hit the gaming community is beyond my ability to tolerate.

Yet not beyond your ability to ***** about it to others in a topic ABOUT THE F2P PANEL IN THE F2P PANEL GAME YOU ARE CURRENTLY BROWSING SAID FORUMS.
For the MWO only:
They discuss the difficulty of finding a publisher stuff most people already know how many publisher's outright refused them some of which no longer exists(THQ?) decided to cut off to do this game via founders..
Mechs are about 60,000 to make and are highly complex and not nearly so simple as some guy drawing one on a tablet and calling it done.
A lot of talk by the entire panel on how many people are confused how things don't just happen instantly(ie Well just make all these maps)
Maps anywhere from 70k to quarter million, take a lot of time to build and test properly.
Mostly just having to deal with the fanbase of the franchise and try to give them a good product. Honestly nothing really interesting unless you have interest in how games like these are being made.

I'm a way-beyond-paid player and I wish I could have just bought the game once. It's both a greedy-as-hell model and a long term one.
I hope they find the middle line, but that's eventually (like almost every other F2P game) going to lead to them selling starting packages, which really isn't any different than what EA does selling you a game and making you buy an expansion ON RELEASE DAY.

The Tribes devs added that into the game only once the game started sinking.

Yeah, tribes ascend recently sold the entire game for one fee previous buyers got a bunch of stuff I am not sure what, I honestly don't play it. Anyway, we'd have to have enough content worth boxing up and selling I feel. I do think the direction of bundles is a solid choice.
Something akin to: The Assault pack(bunch of assault mechs, the bays for them etc..)

Probably tells a lot why things are going like they are.
If you want to enjoy it too, its on 25:35 roughly.

I listen to NGNG for the same reason even if I find it somewhat annoying to have to hunt down answers there, on Twitter, or from press releases. Even after all that effort, I still find it more of a community building exercise when you can be a fountain of information for everyone else.
