Has Anyone Else Noticed Ppcs Pinging Off Mechs For 0 Damage?

Now I know it isn't just lag (and I long suspected that because my gauss rifle builds have no such problems) and the PPC is in fact just shooting for 0 damage very often. Not even a red cursor for hit confirmed.

It will probably stay this way untill ballistic state rewind.

yes but I've never seen stationary targets take no damage from my gauss, only ever from the PPC. And the amount of times it happens with the PPC is staggering.
My Hyper-Kurita Cataphract with 3 PPCs used to get 600+ damage by throwing up on my keyboard. Now I'm getting 400 damage if I'm lucky, and I attribute that entirely to these no-damage PPC shots.

I don' t think you understand.
I've been spamming PPCs on every mech I've owned since the buff. As a connoisseur of PPCs I can tell you something very real has changed, and PPCs are hitting unmoving targets dead center for 0 damage (and obviously doing 0 damage at other points too.)
It doesn't happen enough to notice it UNLESS you're playing as much as I am with PPCs and you see as many shots as I do slam in to targets that in no way could've missed and take 0 damage.
Yet the second I pop back in to my 2x gauss Jagermech-S instead of my 3x PPC Cataphract-1x all of the sudden no more issues. Both have the weapons in their arms. Both shoot at about the same projectile speed. Both are used for long range sniping.
There are two possible things that have changed.
A. I've started to use arm lock on my Cataphract so as to avoid the arm ballistics bug, but I really doubt that can be an issue.
B. PPC hit detection got bugged out by some other systems change and now it's on the fritz.

all ranges.
And a PPC fired at 10m will STILL trigger the red cusor, even if it's only doing 1 damage.
...except PPCs dont do 1 damage at 10m...they do 0 damage.
derp
edit: and the same thing DOES happen with ballstics. AND missles. cant tell you how many point blank shots with my srms have hit dead center and do no damage, no red reticule. it all started after they fixed lasers. go figure. (the say ballistics / missles were untouched but it was the same patch that borked them)

PPCs do less damage from 90m to 0m. They do 1/2 damage at 45m.
How many ways can I say you're wrong except that "you're wrong!"
Oh right I Can say "derp."

It's really hit and miss.
Some times i fee like I am rocking a full 10 dmg but most of the time I fee like I am hitting the guy for 2-5 dmg a ppc or seeing the visable result and not seeing the damage register. That happens to me a lot.

the correct way to see if your hit registered is to check for if your cursor goes red, and then looking at your target's armor to see if any segments are flashing.

Tale as old as time
True as it can be
Barely even used
Enemies amused
Unexpectedly
Just a little change
Small, to say the least
Still underpowered
Neither strong nor cool
Glitchy PPC
Ever just the same
Ever a surprise
Ever as before
Ever just as sure
As the sun will rise
Tale as old as time
Tune as old as song
Bittersweet and strange
Finding you can change
Learning you were wrong
Certain as the sun
Rising in the East
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Glitchy PPC
Tale as old as time
Song as old as rhyme
Glitchy PPC.
---
Sorry, but as soon as I read this, I immediately thought of how long strange "no damage, or less damage than one would expect"* thing has been happening with PPCs, and then the (oh so applicable) lines "Tale as old as time, Song as old as rhyme" popped into my head...
*YES, EVEN ACCOUNTING FOR THE DAMN MIN RANGE, STOP BRINGING THAT UP.
