Just thought I would post this video of my Jagermech DD (which stands for Dakka Dakka) it has 6 x AC2 and I use a Mouse macro to time the firing chain to cycle each weapon every 0.090 seconds. The end result is hilarious:

I am suprised Macros are allowed as imo you do get an advantage over other people using the same build as you could not do this with your fingers. Maybe something worth looking at sometime

Good stuff as per usual mack my old son, came up against one of the b*****ds earlier tonight, was in my ac20 jager and was literally blinded by it.. my screen was just a big cloud of ac2 explosions... mental...gotta try this sometime myself.

ps - any link to the macro?

The Mouse I use has built in macros so it's mouse specific

I want to be shot by one as I have no idea what it is like.

It'd be really silly if they banned macro's like this, since you're only simulating what an actual MechWarrior would do in this situation: Time your weapons automatically to get the best effect out of them. IMO, they should just provide official support for Macro's of this kind, like Blizzard did in WoW.

Couldn't you make the macro even faster? It looked like the 5 others had not fired before the 1st was recharged yet.

Video was thoroughly entertaining, awesome job with it.

How many buttons does that mouse have? You could program it to alternate left and right sides (firing in threes) or fire in pairs so it looks like your 3 AC/2s per side are one big rotary cannon.

Insanely amusing. I have no respect for the build and yet I'm tempted to do it just for that insane stream of Dakka.

My favorite part was during the short clips at the end. Your team has that Cat backed up against a wall with an Altas and 2 other mechs right in front of it, and you've got him so annoyed he ignores them to shoot at you, LOL.

Out of curiosity, did you set a delay on your macro, and how much?

Couldn't find a way to get my mouse to run macros like this, so I did a bit of googling and found http://www.autohotkey.com/

For anyone else looking for a way to use this macro, it's pretty simple, just go to the above link, download and install autohotkey, then when it's installed right click an empty folder, hit New -> Autohotkey Script, then copy/paste the following and save...
