Played 3 matches after todays patch with no issues, then froze hard in Alpine Peaks. Probably 2-3 minutes in. Had to close game with Task Manager.

Most of the crash related stuff I experienced seems to clean up through a complete reinstall (meaning, uninstall, then install).

There's something with the patcher that might be making this worse for everyone.

  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?

I've had the game freeze up twice tonight, once during the end of round screen just in the midst of popping up. The second time just before a match was going to end.

No idea of a cause, it just... happened. Killed the task and restarted it and was back in business.

This never happened before today, though. So I hope the hotfix didn't introduce a hard-lock bug. :blink:

I've been continually crashing to desktop the last couple days. As well as that, I also get the kaleidoscope bug a lot. I've tried entirely uninstalling, updating drivers, etc. Is there a solution to this or is it simply broken for the time being?

Yeah, session lost in mechbay was already under "Session lost" in general, but you are right. The Devs should know, that we are having "Session lost" problems while not even being in a match.

All of the above, including the yellow line to the far left with missile lock.

Edit: Out of 6 games today, three crashed upon launching, mech was locked ingame.

Guys... I don't find words for this anymore. You know, having some bugs and stuff is allright, but this... sorry, its unplayable.

Same as Shevchen - This is now unplayable. I'm playing in PUGs to try to find out if its a specific cause, but I REALLY want to play with my teammates. I don't want to crash most games and have my teammates have to pick up the slack (not that they don't have to already).

I'll also mention the no IFF bug as well but this is apparently well known.

I really think, for me, it's something with Caustic and River City Night... I think the rubberbanding bug also happened on regular River City in my first match after the patch (that was probably 1 minute lag).

EDIT: Made my comments in Sevchens quote stand out more.

GTX 560 Ti, driver 314.22. In UK, ping ~170. Nothing has changed except the new patch, and now encountering these bugs that I have not got before:-

Throttle display glitch.
Coloured, non-working minimap.
No minimap.
Non-working compass.
Auto-switching Heat vision.
Texture tearing in several maps, especially Alpine and Tourmaline.
Keyboard strokes delay, then occuring all in succession.
Rubberbanding, sudden jerking of mechs in random direction.
Extra players displayed on scoreboard.
WWWWWW as mech name in-match.
Damage doll not updating.

Seriously, I'd rather have a patch rollback and do away with the new Consumables. These bugs getting old fast, at the frequency they are occurring. Tried to play with my brother today but he got the kaleidoscope glitch 90% of the time, giving up altogether in the end.

I'll add my $0.02.

- Consistent crashing out to mechlab. Been happening for the last 2-3 patches. Significantly worse with the latest patch.
- Way more minimap/HUD glitches than I used to get. Particularly the one where the minimap looks correct, but the degree markers and the minimap torso indicators don't spin with the mech.
- CTRL + ALT + INS says that some objects are not rendering properly?
- Rubberbanding, though not as bad as most people are reporting.
- A myriad of other issues that are infrequent,but ones which I never experienced until recently.

On my system, this game was running well. Very well actually. In early March it got frustrating. Now, it's completely unplayable. I only run solo now, because I can't be relied on to even finish the startup sequence, much less a whole match. And when I do play, I usually only make it three matches, and if I finish even one of those, it probably means I died quick. I spent my money, and I desperately want to see this game do well, but . . . . well, everyone else has already said it. I don't think most people are expecting miracles. Small bugs, the occasional DC, I expect those. Even the odd big bug with a hot fix, sure. But this constant parade of issues, the mounting frustrations, the endless march to complete unplayability, it's just too much.

Guys do we have hotfix today? For me it did no changes - 70% of my games end with "cry engine error - cant allocate memory" (or so - messagebox closes too fast so i cant read it).

I'm still having frequent hard-locks. The game does not go back to desktop or produce a crash log, it just hangs. I let it sit for about 10 minutes and watched the process continue to consume more memory (albeit slowly). I updated my graphics drivers on Tuesday (dxdiag posted in spoiler). The bug is not repeatable with any known steps.

Game freezes randomly.
I have google chat running in the background. Did not have any issues with the last patch. I'm Running in fullscreen mode on a windows 7 machine.

Still rubberbanding like crazy with a ping of 50. Game is unplayable. If you need me, I'll be off playing other games.

Still crashing quite frequently here in the exact same manner you described. Friday's patch fixed nothing.

I noticed that when I shoot SRMS and medium laser together then enters the graphic bug ....

especially the stupid is when I hear the SRMS and medium laser shoot, then enters the bug also .... I now play the last 20 or so controlled.

Maybe it's an illusion but somehow the fault occurs much öffter on when I play with SRMS and med laser than when I use other weapons.

If I then start the taskmangager current game and return to the bug is gone. But as soon as I hear the SRMS and med laser bug is back and I do it all again and it's gone.

Before the patch I had no problems.

I play with a laptop Windows 7 Home Premium Inter core i 7 nvidia 630m

you intended noticed that I have now written with demm google translate. I'm sorry for the unpleasant sentence construction;)

Well, since that last patch, we have some of the old issues back. NEVER again try to get us new features in exchange for stability! Especialy that no use features like Air Strike and so on. These new features aren't worth all the trouble we now have back. Trouble, we have had not for 2 months! All are back!

Since latest patch occasional screen freezing and flickering ground textures. Freezing doesn't seem to be connected to anything particular I'm doing, it just happens.
Alt + tab out and back in usually fixes it.

Resolution 1920x1080, all settings in adv. video settings medium and AA is set at PostAA. Haven't changed them.

First it was the blackscreen connectivity issue.

Now I'm crashing back to mechlab.



Time of crash: Piloting a Catapault K2, firing quad LL's on Forest Colony

Rig: Core 2 Duo, 4 Gigs ram, ATI Radeon 4950 with latest drivers

My game is freezing up and I have to reboot computer. It's happening more and more... to the point the game is becoming unplayable. Latest driver installed.. complete uninstall and reload two times. Still freeze up every two or three games.
