- Left Arm: 3 Energy
- Left Torso: 2 Missile, 1 AMS
- Right Arm: 2 Ballistic
judging by the hardpoints, it looks terribad. heavily left-sided. take out the left torso and all it has left is 2 Ballistic on the right arm assuming that they didn't swap out the XL for a Standard engine. if it has an XL, then it's dead and no need to worry about the right arm.

If your idea worked, the North Korean problem would have been solved by the North Korean people decades ago.

Yes, it would be a lot better if those missiles were in RT. The right hand has 9-10 slots depending on if it has a hand actuator so you cannot really equip a lot in there. Also every heat producing weapon is on the left side, which is bad if you go STD engine.
But... on the other hand arm-mounted weapons are good. Strap on the biggest engine you can (325), get jump jets and forget those missiles. 2 AC5's and 3 LL's should be quite good in a pretty fast jumping assault.
If only we could strap on bigger than 325 engines, this would indeed be a bigger Dragon with both being heavy on arm-mounted weapons.

This is what i was thinking about. I know lots of people who bought the 3 variants of the Cataphract to master only to buy the Ilya after it was released and grind it to master as well. Most people I know who did this (including me) kept the 3D, the Muromets, and 1 other. For me it was the 2X for a different build since it has missle slots.
This way, you buy the Hero and then buy two that you like on configuration and save some C-Bills. It's actually win-win here.

Let them make a few extra dollars from players who want the Highlander early. What's the harm? So long as we can still buy regular versions with MC during that same month, that is.

So today I am proposing
OPERATION HIGHLANDER: THERE CAN ONLY BE NONE.
Anyone sighted in the pink "HEAVY METAL" hero mech, we focus fire till they go down.
We scout for them we find them we kill them and spoil some people's day yes, but its IN PROTEST
It should be held back till another after the regular variants IMO.
Nah man, this is actually perfectly good, and a really good idea on PGI's side. Riot does the same thing, in a way, with League of Legends, by marking up the Ip(c-bills) cost of a new hero to 7800, but keeping its rp(MC) at 975, then a week later, they reduce the IP to match that of other 975 champs at 6300 IP. This makes it more appealing to spend rp on it, since 7800 ip is actually quite a lot, but doesn't prevent anyone from getting it on release day if they REAAAALLY want it. PGI is doing something similar, but now with hero mechs... except, no matter what, you coulnd't buy this particular mech with c-bills anyway, so it's a really good way to build both hype and bolster incentive for players buying MC. And, honestly, I would call it fair. They'll likely release the other variants in a week, and then you can buy them for c-bills if you don't want to spend money on it. You can get upset if you really want, but honestly, this is good marketing and its done in a way which really doesn't harm anyone.
