Since we're mix-matching... ;)

Center torso/cockpit, legs, hips from Longbow 1, R/L Torsos, arms/weapon pods from Longbow 2.

when you have a longbow in your team you don´t need catapults
sure you do. As the Catapult is a heavy but much lighter on the armor than the Longbow, The catapult can make for a great lighter support mech to the Longbow. If the longbow ever hit the game and because of its armor and ability to not have to get into the fight but be the massive long range missile support mech its intended to be... it will need smaller support mech and I can see the catapult being a great support mech for the longbow as well as also lending its own range missile support while it guards the longbows. Give me an artillery lance of 2 longbows and 2 catapults and watch how fast other mech fall in battle lol

I like the second Longbow design, if only because it's the LGB-12C with 2 LRM 20's and 2 LRM 15's, as has been previously been stated thats 70 missiles per volley, Catapult eat your heart out!

1 looks better to me. As for variant I'd go with this:

LGB-12R - (4) LRM-15 launchers, (1) ER Large Laser and (1) ER Medium Laser. CASE and (3) three jump jets to cover 90 meters per jump. A Light Fusion Engine is used to make room for the load-out.

Isn't the longbow just a big version of this?

An LRM15 and and LRM10 in each arm/pod/torso side? Nice. Looks like it would manoeuvre like a barge though.

Doesn't matter, It's another handless mech... I'm sure FD can make it look decent but it's not my style of mech either way.

Now I don't feel so bad that they never wave back when I pass them on the way to work. ;)

This Mech really needs some love. It's okay artwise (on both accounts), but gamewise ... where do I start?
Hitboxes as large as the moon? Please no! Large hitboxes filled with essential weapon systems are a double penalty by all means (read: easy to hit and cripple). And no arms either, third penalty ... that is before the real fight has even started.

One solution could be to streamline the design so it remains pleasing to the eye and does away with the incredibly large hitboxes, that would be its undoing ingame otherwise. It appears to have worked out for the 'new' Catapult so far. Understandably, I can't really comment on its game performance yet.

I think the top one, just change the missile pods to hexagon shapes to get away from the Unseen Longbow's round cylinder pods. The 2 missile pods are the arms if you have not read the TT readouts. it is opposite of the Archer with it's missile launchers in the L/R torsos. It has to look different some what from the Robotech version. I don't know nothing about the game modeling aspect but i figure the hit boxes should follow the outline of the model. Anyone driving this missile boat will need to learn to stay in the back of the map and stand in cover.

I need the 7v or the MML ones Sure range is nice but its IS and being able to put the hurt on in close is needed as well.
