I love it, another option is to downgrade the engine to an XL300, and drop the jumpjets for 2 SRM6's with artemis, less agility but a hell of a lot more firepower. I've been driving it that way and I've yet to find anything short of a brawling atlas that gives me any real problems.

Although I'm thinking of dropping some armour and a heatsink then I can fit 1 JJ, which should be enough just to use to turn which would turn it into a mean brawler.
Love the options in mobility that the jumpjets can give you.
Interesting modifications! I would love to hear how it works out for you.

True,
What do you mean when you say "this mech is far too much to pilot"?
My face hurts from grinning/cackling too much. Face cramps are no fun. Don't pilot a mech 30 minutes after eating.

Well, I would have died a few times so far due to LT destruction, if I wasn't using a standard engine. People seem to just love to aim for my left torso because it removes more than half of the HM's firepower.
It's definitely a possibility and the LT is the place to aim for. I've not had a side torso death yet though. I've actually come close to losing legs though!

Nice video TruePoindexter,
As a Jenner player I am very cautious of the hitting capacity of the Heavy Metal. So much more than the Atlas. Although us lights do have the speed and agility to get behind the big mechs a good pilot of the HM that makes good use of their JJs can really ruin our round!
Cheers!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Yeah lights are definitely in a dangerous spot fighting a jump capable Heavy Metal. Much more so than other assaults. The arm mounts weapons make target tracking much easier.
